Thanks Avril.

We got home a couple of hours ago after a 315 mile drive home from Southampton.

We had an amazing 7 nights cruise on Iona.

The ship was fabulous and is now top of our list of ships.

Graham.

Nice indoor shots of you both stood standing up inside without your masks. Blooming rebels.🤣

Well we have just been treated to a beautiful fly past by a Spitfire over Hanley. It was to mark the new exhibition at the City Museum of the Spitfire and Reginald Mitchell. Spectacular!

We missed it -- we had to stay home as we had a delivery and were hoping it would come over our house but it didn't.

Looks like you had a great time -- we are supposed to be on IONA in May but are still unsure. We will be picking your brains 🙂 We have booked and aft cabin

Our cabin was on deck 10 just aft of the aft elevator.

Fantastic location if you are right at the back of the ship.

The only cabins I would warn about are the bow balcony cabins on deck 9 that have no privacy.

We loved Iona and there is lots of choices to eat, drink and live entertainment and lots of sun decks.

The promenade deck 8 was amazing as it was very wide with chairs and sunbeds along its entire length and on the port side there was outside covered tables to eat your fish and chips etc.

Just praying that things have calmed down ---- did you feel safe amidst all of the people and the air con that recirculates the air ??

Perfectly safe.

There are lots of lounges, restaurants, bars and open deck areas.

Everyone had to wear masks indoors except when eating or drinking.

Masks compulsory in the theatre and cloth signs were draped over every third seat stopping people sitting there so couples had an empty seat either side of them.

We do the same thing, we like the back on deck 10 especially the corner cabins on Azura and Ventura.  We are at the back of deck 10 again on Sky Princess.

You look to have had a good time Graham. Everything looks lovely and the ship looks amazing, but certainly much too big for us.

My Saturday evenings are now sorted for the rest of the year, Strictly is back.  I already know who I want to win. 🤣🤣

Who Josy - or are you keeping it secret? I just watched, and really enjoyed the show, and thought the same as you - Saturday nights sorted till December!  Jane.x

Graham - fabulous photos of you both as always. Pauline looks so elegant in her black ( or navy?) cocktail dress. I must say I think Iona looks very impressive and I'll be very tempted to book a cruise on her in the future. Glad you had a great time. Best wishes. Jane.x

Adam Peaty, but my sister just  called me and told me that he has no chance. I think that any of them are capable of winning with hard work and a good professional  dancer.  We will see.
