Moggy is what apparently the Brits call Tabby cats for the "M" on their forehead?...according to our British Vet's tech at the time of adoption. She was a beautiful Tuxedo Tabby. 🙂 Seems like pictures and stories of our kitties may be the one thing that can unite us on Cruise Critic.

Rare Lionesss Posted November 29, 2020 #3183 Share Posted November 29, 2020 Well sad day. Just got home from our thanksgiving getaway. Moved the DD from Bowling Green Ohio to Kentucky to be with her fiancé. So instead of only a 2 1/2 hour drive to see her it now becomes a 5 1/2 drive. Now we are planning the wedding which is only 8 months away. But. I realize I am so blessed. Glad I have the opportunity to make her dreams come true. One of their engagement pictures. And of course the grand puppy.
Sunshine3601 Posted November 29, 2020 #3184 Share Posted November 29, 2020 Here is today's newest furry member to our family. Eva She was named Tina but we immediately changed. This photo makes her look bigger than she is.. she is rather petite and very sweet. We got home around 430 and she loves the bathroom so far.

Lol What are those green things in the one picture? M8 I totally forgot to answer, but it is nothing terribly exciting until it stops working. In the older days septic systems lids were under the surface of the ground. If you ever needed to clean the system you had to dig down to the cement lid. When the job was done but the dirt back until the next pump out. Now they are on risers like this, attached to the top of the cement, which is underground. You just need a drill to remove the lid cover. Similar to this. Our green lids are screwed down and under them there is another removable screen for fall in prevention. It is the yellow one. Ours are hidden by the garden in the summer and by the snow in the winter. Thus, the orange marker between the lids, in case I need to dig them out. It is a two tank system, with the one have 3 chambers and the other is just a tank. lid #1 is to the holding tank from the house. lid #2 is the electrical connection of the tank for the agitation chamber. lid #3 is the aeration holding portion. lid #4 is the storage are in the first tank. lid #5 is for the second tank. It is a larger holding tank, to which then sends it off to the septic bed when full. Our system is similar to this. Not exact, but it gives you the idea. Like I said above, it really is not exciting until it stops working. Then you can say it’s crappy. 1 2
Rare A&L_Ont Posted November 30, 2020 #3198 Share Posted November 30, 2020 On a more exciting note I was busy rearranging the back barn for the last time. Trailers parked in their home for winter and on tenders. Combine heads are cleaned up and put in. Still have a bit more tomorrow before the snow flies. Weather fear mongers are stating biblical proportions of snowfall, which means we are in trouble or we get nothing. 😂 In the meantime someone snuck in again. Photo today by Lisa.

We had dinner at friends of ours from Scotland tonight and got to talking about Ireland. When I got home I re-read through my Ireland blog. Ireland was the trip that got me started in my love for travel. This was just the pick me up I needed. I hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend. We *will* travel again soon! I'm glad you're feeling better. That funk kind of sneaks up on you in this past year of funkiness. I have experienced it several times myself, and literally cried when I cancelled the Allure TA cruise. Not the cruise itself, but the beverage and dining packages which is when I finally acknowledged that we really weren't going.
Milwaukee Eight Posted November 30, 2020 #3200 Share Posted November 30, 2020 @A&L_Ont that’s a pretty elaborate system you have there. We are on sewer here but have had Septic Tank and drain fields but nothing like this. M8
