The kids this week asked if they could go together for my birthday present and put a drip Irrigation system in my garden! I said YES.  The SILs, with Kenzie's dad heading it up, are going to put it together.   A lot of work.  Kenzie's family has one for their flower business they started.   Here is a pick of some of their flowers this week.

Wow!    That is a wonderful, thoughtful present.

Their flowers are looking very healthy and should be in full bloom soon.   😍

😆 bumper crop.  I grow to much as it is but it's fun and great to be able to share.

Usually when I grow garlic I lose about 15% .  A couple weeks ago I counted the ones that are up and bigger than ever before.   176.  If I recorded correctly I planted 178. Lost 2!

Some think I over grow garlic. 😆 🤣 😂.   How do you overgrow garlic!  I only have 3 bulbs left from last year's harvest.

This year I am going to expand my herb garden.    I ran out of all my dried herbs about a month ago.    I love to use to them year around.

Has anyone else received a zillion emails with posts from CC today.   I have never seen this before.  I had several pages of these emails to delete.   ???

Going to check and see if my email preferences on this site changed.  I haven't changed them.

I don't think it was the pole reference that caused the problem.  I think it was the images that resulted from the Google search on a certain male bathing suit that uses the minimal amount of material possible while still providing cover.

I Googled it. Is it now on my permanent record???

It’s one of those “Where’s the bleach  for my brain” situations.

On a rare drizzly day in Florida I did some laundry.  While washing the bed linens I realized I had mattress butt crack!!

So, how long until this gets zapped by The Powers That Be for being inappropriate?  🤣🤣🤣

Now that the Bella cruise is winding down, time to get back to our regularly scheduled programming.

Let's Go Rangers!

Just had to clarify that my "like" reaction was for hockey in general, not the NYR in particular.

(This Michigan gal loves her Red Wings, even if they haven't been the same since the era of Zetterberg, Lidstrom, Franzen, Datsyuk, Draper, etc.  Man, that team was FIRE with that lineup!)

Pens fan here but Looks like you are at the game.  Hockey is such a great sport to watch live.  Enjoy!

Honestly, hockey ruined me for all other sports.  Everything else is too tame/boring once I got into hockey about 20 years ago.

It's funny.   I guess sometimes you don't even know you are even playing monopoly.

How about some sunset picks.  Took these when we got home this evening.

From the side of the house.

And we all love balcony views.

In 1979 I was on a cruise out of New York City and Phil Esposito was a passenger rangers had a good year , Phil was extremely funny he would sit at the bar telling jokes , and in a talent contest his wife threw a pie in his face.

Thanks, it was a good night. For me, not so much for the Pens. Sorry,

The days of Scotty Bowman and his "Unit of Five"!! Totally dominated the sport for a better part of a decade.

Totally agree, although I am a baseball fan as well. But that's more about hanging out in the stands, socializing with other fans since it's soooo slow moving. Hockey you can't take our eyes off the ice for a second.

Been a pleasure to follow the Bella Cruise.  Loved @Sea Dog beautiful videos, @A&L_Ont stunning suite views, the many cocktail & food photos and the camaraderie exhibited between the whole group.  Hope those with knee issues get sorted soon and that Bella’s dad and cruise organiser extraordinaire is well soon to organise Bella2.

Back to regular programming and Sydney spam…

We’re in autumn downunder but the weather hasn’t got the memo.  Been a hot summer weekend - reaching 37C both days.

Carnival at Circular Quay this morning on a hot, humid & smoky Sunday.

Wondered why The Rocks was closed off and police were everywhere.  Got closer and realised it was the St Patrick’s Day Parade.  A sea of green

DH was rather taken with this one.  A dunnart by Janet Luxton, a small marsupial at risk due to the devastating bushfires on Kangaroo Island (cruise port off South Australia).  It was a full scale painting  selling for $7.8k.9138676B-E9CD-4840-A178-A2867FA0BD84.thumb.jpeg.e701977f2e05ff11c17e98f29c7c0645.jpeg

I loved these for their burst of colour.  Painted by a New York born artist Stephanie Chambers now residing in Australia painted8FBE0228-1766-4A69-87D6-AB09B0D5D17F.thumb.png.bdfac7f09a456f50878bb6bb13d664b3.png
