Good morning.

If bored, and want to follow  my addition to the many already posted live threads about the Allure, here is the link.

We love the Allure and are a tad anxious about cruising out of a new port....Galveston.

We have followed other posters experiences, but still apprehensive.  So to keep my mind from panicking, posting should keep my mind occupied.

Sea ya

I'm up for reading about one of my favorite ships. I'm coming over....

Ryan was awarded Honor Roll and President's Education Academic Award for receiving a grade no lower than 90 in 7th grade in all marking periods and no lower than 90 in 8th grade for the first 3 marking periods.  He makes us so proud!

Our oldest grandson Andrew had his band concert this week in which he had a brief solo. His Mom snapped this picture just before it started. This year he moved from clarinet to saxophone, which his Mom also played throughout Jr and Sr high school.  IMG_4128.thumb.jpeg.73f219ac34a5fdb79b28588a1c8897d1.jpeg

That was a new one for me too.   When I read White rabbit, all I could think of was this.

One artist that I like very much, Molly Tuttle made this "Very Trippy" version recently.

A bit like dining in Wonderland 😉

Good evening.  Took advantage of an evening of nice weather to head into Circular Quay straight after work to view a little of Vivid Sydney - our annual light, ideas and music festival.  Took me a leisurely fours hours to walk a loop from Circular Quay to The Rocks to Barangaroo to Darling Harbour to stop and view some of the installations along the way.

Started with the Sydney Opera House, which never disappoints.
The illuminations on the Opera House’s sails this year spotlights the paintings of the late Australian artist Jon Olsen and his enduring fascination with Australia’s nature & landscapes.

Rabbit Rabbit 🐇 White rabbit for the first of the month.

It is cloudy here and 63°F.

I hope everyone is safe and well.

Wishing everyone a happy and fulfilling day.

Have a wonderful day, Graham and everyone on Danis thread.

I have been saying Ribbit Ribbit on the first of the month since the late '60's.  Have I been saying it wrong all of these many, many years?  I first heard this while living in Ft. Lauderdale.  Perhaps it was my friends' accent, that has me saying Ribbit?  LOL

As is often the case at Vivid, you turn around from taking photos of one installation and you see something else that is fab.01C851C2-A72D-417D-AB34-D3CD54B1CC0C.thumb.jpeg.a664af8923563369854d3773489c3066.jpeg

You really need to see a video of this to appreciate the amazing detail.  It was so good I watched it 3 times before moving on.

Then walked under the Harbour Bridge and came across this amazing installation at Pier One. It was a combo of water, video projection & sound.  Amazing.  (Couldn’t find the info sign in the dark for this one) and my photos don’t do it justice.D290438A-1091-4916-800D-9F0A00527DE7.thumb.jpeg.aecda65928ea035737e7f6de7ee16e88.jpeg

These art installations look amazing. I’ve always liked images and video projecting onto buildings. I would love to know how they do it. Must be some powerful projectors.
