Interior rooms behind elevators

How are these rooms? I'm eyeing one in the Havana area on the Panorama. It is tempting to be that close to everything, but is it going to be loud?

Really depends on if there is a wall or door between you and the elevator.

these type of rooms is my favorite and i always book them. never had any issues with noise

We have stayed in those too and have had no issues.

I've also used these inside rooms and can't find any difference. To be fair, I  exhaust myself on cruises and sleep like a baby.

Most of the noise comes from the loud people getting off of the elevators on your floor and talking as they walk past your cabin.

The only time I was bothered, it was a open hallway. I could hear the elevator dinging all night long.

We had a premium balcony cabin behind the aft elevators and were concerned about noise but wanted the extra large cabin and balcony. No noise whatsoever or elevator dinging. In fact, we have another one booked on the Pride for Jan. 2022.

No problem at all.  Was in the same exact room you're looking at on the Horizon twice, think it was 5205. There's 2 of them on board.

That's what the fire doors are for, I've gotten up and gone and close them before.  Most i have seen have pistons somewhere so its not like they slam shut after opened.
