@AtlantaCruiser72  Has HAL done away with the 50% reduced deposit as part of the Have It All promo (at least I think they used to offer that?)?

At this time there is no reduced deposit offer for Europe 2023. Have it all is a standard pricing structure not a limited time special offer. Reduced deposits are part of limited time special offers.  Currently they are running a reduced $99pp deposit for 2022 Alaska cruise and land/sea packages when booked under Have it all. Guests also receive an extra $100pp in shore excursion discounts.

@AtlantaCruiser72  One more question - assuming they'll offer it again in 2023, any idea when they'll announce the RT Boston itinerary that's 24 days (Canada, New England, and Iceland)?

HAL does not publish a deployment calendar. Sometimes I get lucky and have advance notice of new deployment, sometimes it just shows up available to book on their website.  Given the rise in popularity of Greenlan/Iceland I’m hopeful they bring that cruise back. The fact that Zuiderdam will be doing VOV in 2023 adds to my optimism as it leaves Zaandam unencumbered to take on such a sailing.  If they offer it will be included as part of their Canada/NE deployment announcement.

Thanks to your heads up, we were able to get VOV booked with our TA first thing this morning.  That said, Greenland/Iceland shorter itinerary is interesting and might work better time-wise so will keep an eye out.

In 2022 we are booked on 24 day Canada, New England, Iceland itinerary, and following 11 day  New Foundland and New England Discovery tour(w/great casino discount).   We just put the VOV on hold.  We like the itinerary better, but, it is significantly more expensive even with casino discount.  We would not cancel the 2022 until final payment.  I would love to do both...decisions decisions...I sure wish the VOV promotion included HSC like my 2022 bookings.

I have a hold on VOV, too.  This mention by @AtlantaCruiser72of the 24-day one being announced later gives food for thought.  But I think we'll put deposit down for VOV and sort it out later.  I've long wanted to do that cruise.  DH has been resistant, but it's easier to pitch now, given how convoluted travel has become.

I think we are going to make deposit, and still take the 2022 cruise.  After the cruise we can decide if we need to do the VOV in 2023.  We both really love the itinerary.  I hesitate to give up August 2022 because who knows what the future holds, you know?  Every day is a gift.  We have given up two other cruises in early 2022 hoping by August 2022 there will be some sort of normalcy again.

Maybe the oft rumored Grand Asia???  I would love to know if that's a go in 2023.

IF there is a Grand Asia or Grand Pacific in 2023 it would most likely be on Volendam as she will be sailing to Alaska from Vancouver for summer 2023.  She could easily reposition to LA/San Diego for such a sailing.  Zaandam will most likely be doing Canada/NE cruises and be in the North Atlantic for the summer season so no need to reposition her to the west coast when Volendam is already there :)

Not truly impressed. After my cancellation due to Covid in 2020 I am not seeing my cruise itinerary being repeated in 2022 so I had hope that maybe....just perhaps 2023. At flirst, glance the answer is no. Glad I asked for a refund and not a future cruise credit.  Oh well, three cruises on HAL before that but its time to move on.

@puppycanducruise I'm actually looking for a cruise that includes Channel Island, Belgium, Northern France and works its' way down to the Med.

That sounds really nice.  The closest thing they have in 2023 is the Iberian Adventure that goes from Copenhagen to Rome.

We're doing the European River Explorer in August of 2022 that sails from Rotterdam to Rome.  It doesn't stop in the Channel Islands, but maybe have a look at that.

@AtlantaCruiser72  Thank you!

A quick glance shows there aren't any cruises including France, Portugal, England, etc.

Saw the same thing so we booked a Celebrity Apex cruise from Amsterdam to Athens that includes ports in France, Portugal and Spain. Much better deal than any HAL cruise in a Retreat Suite.
