Onboard account refunds

About how long has it taken for you to receive a refund from your onboard account after a cruise?

Did have to do anything to get the process started?

It takes approximately 5 to 6 weeks and no we didn't have to do anything to start the process. Keep in mind that it has to be refundable on board credit and more than $25.00.

We are still waiting for a OBC refund for a cruise that ended December 17th.

They do it automatically--keep an eye out for a check in the mail from some company you don't recognize. Mine was around a month last time, and on my last cruise I had so much OBC I didn't even touch the $100 military credit, and just viewed it as a fare rebate.

We received a check for $64.00+ don't remember the cents.  Have no idea why.  We took an 11 day cruise in December and the check came last week.

My experience, yours may vary:: this will lock you out of the casino. They are not an ATM

I have never been locked out, and I have been doing this since 2008. I don't do it all within a 5 minute period, but if it looks like we'll have leftover, I add that to my account a couple days before we hit home port. We cash out before going to bed on the last night.

 

We play slots, anyway, so perhaps that's the difference.

Have you done it since August 2021?? Thats when I ran a slot pull, cashed out, was locked out

Last month on Enchanted.

It has to be more than $25? I have a refund coming just under that. If I had known i would have bought a little trinket

Not by my experience. You can cash out anything up to $25 st PSD. When over $25 i got a check. I once got a check under $25 when I forgot, but that was pre-covid

Thank you all. the end date of my cruise was Jan 20.

Approaching 6 weeks.

Our recent cruise (February), we did the casino played briefly on slots.  Then cashed out $200 at a time.  Did so 3X during 15 day cruise.  No problem.
