Yes on my upcoming cruises and past ones as well.

Princess will give you shareholder for comped cruises but HAL won’t, just FYI

@LACruiser88 where did you find Live Chat? On the princess website? My SB credit was applied for 4/10 and posted to my reservation around 4/22...but recently my cruise got refared and now the SBC is gone.

 

When I spoke to people at Princess, they didn't seem to know what I was talking about. I emailed the shareholder benefit people again but haven't heard back. This is for an early July cruise. SBC have always been applied easily for me; this is the first time I've seen it post and then disappear!

*UPDATE* My shareholder credit was applied today. 

 

I had originally faxed it on 5/23/22, faxed again on 5/31/22, emailed on 6/6/22, and sent a second email on 6/13/22.  On the second email, I put "URGENT - Cruise Departing on 6/25/22". 

 

I guess that finally did the trick. It took slightly over three weeks from the original fax, compared to the one week turnaround I had experienced earlier this year.

Hi @meab, it is a known ‘issue’ anytime you refare a Princess booking, if you had the shareholders benefit, it will usually ‘drop off’. Pre pandemic, a quick call to shareholders department and it would be restored immediately. With current long hold times using phone contact, I suggest ‘live chat’. You find live chat link at the bottom of the Princess webpage, make sure you scroll all the way down. I was able to use on my IPad yesterday.

 

They can see the history of your booking and restore shareholders without you needing to resubmit any additional documentation.

Thanks for the warning.  I was about to pull the documentation to submit a SHOBC request for our December cruise but will hold off until September.  Maybe when (if??) they are fully staffed again they will start processing these requests quicker and for cruises far in the future.  We can hope anyway!

All of mine have been comped, I've received shareholder credit for all 7 taken so far since the restart. I have 4 more booked, all comped. Shareholder credit has been applied to all of them. They are from July 2022 until February 2023. I've done all my requests via email to sbpcl@princesscruises.com. Received credit for all within 2-3 weeks. I include my name, reservation number, Captains Circle number, home address, phone number...and when I remember a copy of my stock statement (I forgot once, they notified me via email and I resubmitted)

Realized with 4 Princess/Carnival cruises in next 8 mos 1 is 14 days); even if stock continues 2 go down, I can’t get that kind of return on anything else!

You can just an email with all the info, you don’t need to use a form.

There is a shareholder benefit form that you fill out. I called them last year before my first 2021 cruise, and had one of the representatives email me the form, and then I just reused it for my 2 july cruises.
