Well, that's a shame.  Hope you both recover quickly and at least you get to stay in your balcony cabin.  Hope you're both better soon.

We have been isolating in our same cabin since Tuesday. Very pleased we upgraded to an obstructed balcony prior to sailing. Because DW didn’t test positive until yesterday, we will still be in isolation when we disembark. Guest services will order a taxi for us and escort us from our room to the cab so we can get to our car at the hotel.

All is good.

Just home from a beautiful color drive on a lovely, unseasonably nice 74° day. Our stop for cider, apple spice donuts, and pumpkin ice cream has dented our appetites. So, tonight it will be beef vegetable soup along with cheddar cheese and crackers. I've put the soup on and, while it warms, I am enjoying this view from my third story perch.

So pretty, so peaceful...

I love Fall!

Good afternoon.  The yard was mowed, trimmed, etc. in record time.  While it is dry and some of our Bermuda grass did not survive the hot dry summer, there is some green left.  The best is all the tall seed stems from the weedy grass have been cut down.

To all who commented about having DD and DSIL, it has been wonderfiul, and a big help.  DSIL was available to help DH while I was working in the yard.   Both of them have helped with cooking and doing the dishes.  The bonus, we've had rime to visit too.

Welcome home to all the Dailyites disembarking the NS today.

@grapau27  Welcome home.  A cruise on Pauline’s mam's favorite shi0 was a great way to honor her memory.

@Cruzin Terri  Terri, I'm happy you are settling into the apartment.  I hope the contractor and adjustor can reach an agreement on the settlement, and that it's in your favor.

@luvteaching  Karen, I hope your DH continues to have good days in rehab.

@marshhawk  Annie, quitting smoking is difficult, but I know you and DH will be successful.

@ottahand7  It was good you had a good visit with your brother, and that he is in good spirits.

@Overhead Fred  Very glad you made it home safely with the bad conditions.

@dish  Debbie, you must be very excited that two weeks from today you'll be moving into your new home.

With DD and DSIL here, I can be outside without worrying, and I need to do something physical.

@Quartzsite Cruiser  It's so good that you are getting some respite -- even if it involves some work.

Being trapped in a balcony room with an ocean view, with the woman I love, with meals delivered three times a day, any extra concerns just a phone call away, and even fresh fruit ….

I can think of much worse circumstances

@HAL4NOW What a wonderful attitude!

Good evening everyone,

Thanks for all the good wishes for DH - they are working. I got there at 11:30 today to find him sitting on the edge of the bed having done PT and OT, had a shower and his nails were trimmed and cleaned. He was cheery and all was well. His lunch was a big hit - meatloaf, sour cream mashed potatoes, and brussell sprouts (they were not a hit) and peach cobbler for dessert. He ate everything but the sprouts!

It's a journey with him but he is always asking when our cruises are (251 days to the Eurodam to Alaska) and that is great motivation for him.

Have a good evening and thanks again!

Karen
