Regarding Casino  Tier points when do they expire?  Is it 18 months from when they were gotten?  Example....last cruise was 3/22, do the points on this cruise expire 9/23 or when?  I realize during Covid they extended some things but I am only talking about going forward.

You have 18 months to play and earn your tier status.
The current earning period is from January 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021 but has been extended to December 31, 2022.

I read this, but my question is is the 18 month period from your last cruise or is it on a calendar your basis?

18 months from the last points you earned/cruise.  Extended due to covid

Is there any way to find out what your tier is? I would be curious what points I was awarded when playing during my B2B.

You basically need to call the BCC and ask them which should only take 5mins.  They're open 7 days a week and usually there isn't a wait unless they send out a mass comped room offer.

Occasionally BCC emails go out with your tier level yet they often don't include your recent sailings.

Some have stated they're had luck emailing them, I haven't lately and prefer to call since there usually isn't a wait.

It will be printed on your sea pass and boarding pass.   You can also call or ask at the casino cashier.

That's not true. It's a set earning period. Currently, due to the extension, it runs until Dec 2022. After that all points expire and you start earning from scratch. Your tier level for the next earning period will be determined by wherever you wound up at the end of the current earning period. Now, in some cases they have been extending people's tier levels from the previous earning period (my Sapphire level was extended several times even though I have not cruised with Celebrity since Jan 2019) or only dropping them down one tier even though they may not have cruised at all during the prior earning period. They've been playing a little fast and loose with the rules.

I just looked on Celebrity app for our next. My Xpress Pass has Aqua Class. Elite Plus. Onyx. There is a big gap between Onyx and Amethyst.

Yes but it doesn't tell your tiers points which is good to know how near/far you are from the next tier.

I called earlier today and spoke to an agent within 30 seconds.  If anyone wants to do the same:

1) Get your Capt Clubs number ready

2) Dial the BCC: 877-461-7170

3) Press 1

4) They'll follow their script of "My name is XYZ, and whom do I have the pleasure of speaking with?"  You can speed up the process by saying without any pause: "my name is ABC and I'd like to find out how many tier points I have, can I give you my captains number?"

Don't put too much effort into BCC. I'm urrently is a major dispute with them about the free cruise I'm supposed to get as Amethyst.

They now claim despite being listed in the promotional material as guaranteed it's based on my play on the last cruise and I don't qualify. I have forwarded the matter to the Florida Attorney General as a consumer complaint and will take them to small claims court next.

Compared to other cruise line programs Celebrity BCC is dishonest with a lot of false advertisement including their definition of how to earn free play.

I have been a Blue Chip member for about 7 years now and I don't recall any BCC information ever mentioning a "free cruise" at least not for Amethyst level. There is the "annual cruise benefit" which if you read their flyers (someone shared a link to one further up the thread) has an asterisk that denotes it is based on play. You have set benefits that you will get each cruise based on your current tier level and then there are other benefits that are based on the play from your most recent cruise.

Are you sure that number is correct? I get answered by an automated system that says welcome to the conferencing center please enter a passcode?

Ahh I googled, it's 866 not 877!

I believe the first three numbers are 866.

I have gotten many free cruises and great offers on cruises over the past 15 months or so.    Onyx.       I call Blue Chip desk and ask what kind of a deal they can put together on various cruises.   Can do most 7 days with just the taxes.   I play strictly craps.  The offers, class, ships permitted, dates all change... but recently it has been fairly wide open based on availability.      I believe they are putting a lot of weight on table play for cruise offers.       They are also investing heavily to rebuild their gambler / cruise community.

That's great you've made Onyx tier and receiving good offers but something doesn't add up. Table games accrue BCC points at a lower rate than slots so to achieve Onyx tier with only playing craps you must be betting very high stakes and/or the pit bosses are padding your play. It's simple math.

Totally agree yet it's always been that way.  Additionally, they have a partnership with land-based MGM rewards, sometimes the BCC sends offers based on MGM play on a quarterly basis
