We’ll be staying in 11438. Do you think one floor above you would make a difference in the noise level?

Hey, that’s my cabin next January.  We usually make sure we have passenger decks below and above, because they will not be subject to that noise.  I don’t foresee the noise being a problem in this cabin.

If your referring to Don on YouTube, I believe he was talking about not having live production shows at this time.

They do have live music performers. Still, I would be disappointed not seeing the new production shows.

No, it was Panyo&PoolShark. However, it doesn’t matter, the question has been answered a few times here. I really couldn’t imagine no music!

Is that for real..no steps into pool?

The Dome pool has both an inside and outside portion.IMG_0847.thumb.jpeg.c5f46288469c5a8f0b8ec1babce22a76.jpegYou can swim from the outside portion to the inside portion.  The outside portion is significantly larger than the inside part.  The outside has stepladders (see photo above), as does the inside.  But, the inside portion is VERY small.

Catch by Rudi - is it open and anyone on board have photos and experience to share?

I sail next week and have a reservation. Thank you!

@Cdude  Yes, it is.  Need to make a reservation.  It uses a portion of the aft section of The Eatery every evening starting at 5:30PM.

Did we confirm that the dome is not adults only? The video is very confusing he states several occasions that it is but in the comments he says its not.

Must admit I surprised it was due to  it would be  Hard to police having one policy for day and night and being touted as family ship strange to ban them.

Do have any news on Park 19 on reason for the delay from videos all looks like it's there and ready to go?

Park 19 is NOT open, and no word as to when it will go into operation.  Based on the original renderings, the forward portion doesn’t look complete yet.  It seems that while all these venues that aren’t operational seem to look completed, it is the unseen technical aspects that are the holdup.

Does anyone know what the numbers in the red diamonds are describing?

@JimmyVWine  Sorry, I should have mentioned that in my original post.  There is a cutaway diagram of a steer on one of the counters, that shows where the different cuts of meat come from.  Those red numbers on the menu refer to the numbers on that diagram.

Is this the whole menu for dinner with only a few options for starter and main and just one dessert? I hope there is much more to choose from for the steep $45 cover charge?

@Meldrum  That is the entire menu.  This is a “meat centric” dining experience.

Do a mock booking for the more expensive Premium deluxe - aft . If none available choose the guarantee option and just before you book it describes the category as includes signature benefits and upgrades.

Also when I do this on my iPhone, and I choose cabin ie:15603, I get a pop up that says includes etc.

I also asked the future cruise staff last week on the Regal who sells these cruises. He verified yes to Signature restaurant & Sun deck. No to the Signature lounge.

I figure the only real answer needs to come from a passenger on-board the SUN in the category.

Laid to rest.

Yay! Awesome! It looked like a good location for a deluxe balcony in the sphere section.  Maybe a little bigger balcony? (Crossing my fingers).  I like being mid ship and not too many flights of stairs from the public areas.  Whew…I think you’re right…having a floor of cabins below us should buffer it.

Our cruise is in November 2025 so you’ll get to sail on her belie I do.

There has been much back-and-forth about what the Sanctuary on the Sun looks like, and will look like.  Well what you currently see…is the finished product.  This photo taken this morning shows exactly what you can expect if you purchase space in The Sanctuary.  There are no areas of shade to speak of.  The loungers in the sanctuary are exactly the same ones found everywhere else on the pool deck, except they have those blue head pillows.  Any photos or videos you may have seen with beautifully padded loungers, are only found on the Signature Sun Deck (which is only for full suite guests).

For comparison above is a photo of the lounge chairs found on the regular pool deck.

HINT:  If you can’t afford a suite, and want a really luxurious FREE outdoor seating you will find a limited amount far forward on the Seaview Terrace:IMG_0848.thumb.jpeg.854fc96badbbe1a14e0c23380093112d.jpeg

Or, for really luxurious FREE indoor seating, that can be found in The Dome.

Speaking of The Dome…here is what it looked like this morning…with signs posted at all entrances that it will only be available to guests from 2PM to 5PM.  Don’t know how long that will be in effect for.

The ship was pretty much deserted early this morning as everyone had gone ashore in Kusadasi.  As I was walking around gathering information, I crossed paths several times with a handful of top Princess executives (including John Padgett) being led around by Princess’ Director Of Product Development for the Sun.  It sounded like he was updating the group about the areas they were inspecting.

I wanted so badly to go up to them, to pleasantly  thank them for the generous 4-day notice of the cancellation of my 2/18 sailing, and refusal to reimburse all of the $ losses it caused.  I changed my mind, as I pictured 3 security guards greeting me at my stateroom door, escorting me and my luggage off the ship. Some things are best unsaid!

@cruisedoctor thank you for all the pictures.

I will say that I'm so VERY disappointed in the Sanctuary as it's my favorite place on the ship, always.  While I want sun and not shade, the chairs are just way to close together for me and it no longer looks inviting.  They have as others have quite perfectly said, taken the Sanctuary out of the Sanctuary.  Upsetting....

(I know, first world problems. LOL)

Maybe that is the real Sanctuary & someone mistakenly mixed up the names with the regular loungers with a blue pillow packed next to each other exposed to the sun. 🤔

You can find it on the deck plan and Princess can see it as well however, they can’t explain what the benefits are.

vividharp,

that is a screen directly from the Princess site of the cabin.

no mention of signature anything.

are you using a deck plan from a different site that might be  causing confusion.

also, Princess sales and customer service don’t see any signature anything on those cabins.

can you send screens and links to clarify.

Yeah, I am done with this now. No reports from current passengers yet.

Several sources saying conflicting information. Waste of my time.
