Not that I have noticed,  last on Gem Sept, and one section was designated for smokers

No, but some ships (Bliss, Joy, Encore and I believe Prima) have walled-off smoking sections.

Breakaway  says it's non smoking  down the narrow center  corridor but it's not walled off like Bliss and Prima.  Unfortunately  all the best games are in the main casino.

On Spirit in October and it now has a separate closed in smoking area, up some stairs away from main casino floor.

As of right now you are out of luck. The same if you play slots on a cruise ship.

Prima has one side for smoking, the other side nonsmoking. People (nonsmokers) have reported no problematic smell.

This is why I prefer the Breakaway Plus ships.  There's a separate enclosed room and, unless you're sitting directly outside, you won't get a whiff of smoke.  In contrast, the Breakaway is smoky well outside the casino.

The Escape is a BA+ ship, is there a walled-off smoking area on that ship?

Oh OK.  I've only been on the Bliss and Joy and they did.  Figured it extended to all but I stand corrected.

I damn near vomited from the smell of stale smoke when they made us queue through the casino both for disembarkation and for tenders at GSC. 
hmm I think I may add that allergy to my future bookings.

the Epic has alot of slot machines in the walkway - I think they are non smoking --- and one side of the casino is smoking and the other side is non-smoking.

We have sailed on the epic getaway and breakaway many times and even though there are areas that are non-smoking the whole area reeks of smoke

Yes, even though they designate an area 'non-smoking' the smoke travels.   Not sure I've actually seen any active enforcement of 'non-smoking' in those areas of Getaway & Breakaway.

 

It would be best if they could retro-fit something to match the enclosed smoking areas on Bliss, Encore, Prima and Joy.

Celebrity has no smoking in casinos. It was amazing.

No. Bliss and Joy have an enclosed area (but don’t sit opposite the doors when they open/close).

Escape does NOT and I literally could not be in the casino. And that was when running half-capacity.
