One thing that bothered me was that I could only find the Drinks menus on the app. So I took things in my own hands and screen grabbed all of them an uploaded to a Google Doc.

Can I ask where the Beyond was sailing when this menu was available?

I'm asking because many, many drinks are above the Premium limit so I wondered if the ship is in Australia or the UK where gratuities are included in the price.

This is directly from the app for my upcoming sailing on Feb 5th.

I see many many below?  The Premium limit is $17.

My experience is that all of the bars have hard copy menus laying out.   Most recently on Solstice in December.

Not sure if the reason for copying them was use prior to cruise.  I see them posted on CC on a regular basis.

I noticed that most of the martini's listed show a price of " $15/$18 "... previously, the martini's at the martini specific bar were included in the premium package, but this would make it seem that they might not be? That pricing is a little confusing to me... can anyone shed some light on that?

The drink packages limits were just increased to $10 for Classic and $17 for Premium.

So the only chardonnay available is Concho Y Toro? Anywhere on the boat? Even with premium package?j

Highly unlikely.  There have been a number of Chardonnay’s  available on every sailing we have been on.  We have found asking the sommelier is the best bet.  They know what is available and are more than happy to find a wine you like.

Yup… aware of that, but wondering what the $15/$18 refers to for the martini bar menu drinks?

That's one of the things I was trying to point out.

Previously the smaller size was covered by  the Classic package and the larger size was covered by he Premium package. Now both seem to require an overcharge.

I see a lot of $1.20 ($1 plus tip) charges in my future.

@nunuc2000 and @chamima  I have never seen any martinis on the martini menu covered by the classic package.  I have heard that in the past bartenders have been willing to make smaller versions of them (although it sounds like many no longer will do that) but it has never been spelled out on the menu.  That even goes back to my pre-pandemic cruises at least to 2016.  I have often upgraded to the premium drink package because the martini bar drinks were not included in the classic package and they are my favorite drinks on board.

On my last few cruises, there were two prices on the menu.  The lower price was within the premium package limits.  I had assumed that the two sizes gave those paying for drinks a la carte a choice in size.

Maybe i should have been clearer.

We get the "Premium" package. (And "Premium" is in quotes because it seems it's not so premium any more.)

It used to include the large martinis. The price has now been raised to $109/pp/day .

It would seem to me that for that price the large martinis should be included.

I know that that $1.20 per drink is not a big deal but if they're going to charge that $109 it should include what it used to.

When I have seen two prices on the menu on my last few cruises, the premium package did not include the higher priced martinis.  I just ordered the smaller one.  With the drink package you can always order a second (or third).

As far as getting a Martini without the upcharge you could walk down the hall to the casino bar and get a nice martini with classic package and then walk back to martini bar and enjoy the show / vibe without an upcharge . It’s a workaround

I'd rather pay the upcharge or get 2 smaller martini's.  I can just see me trying to juggle a martini through the crowded hall and then trying to find a seat at the martini bar.

And I don't think they make the espresso martini anywhere but at the martini bar.

I guess I’m still a little confused… The celebrity site specifically states that the large martinis are included in the premium package, so I’m still not sure why each of those martini bar choices has a $15 and an $18 price beside them.

We were on the Apex a year ago.   They are still the  same prices that were in the Eden Bar and the Martini bar.

In the Eden those are the same prices, $15 to $20.   We tried all of the $15 and had the Garden for the $5 upcharge.   We didn’t like any of them but it doesn’t mean that you wouldn’t.

The strange smell that many complain about thinking that it is intentionally added to the air in Eden comes from the bar when they smoke infuse a drink.

The $15 martini is still  the regular size martini that they always had.   It isn’t the small one that they serve for the events with the free drinks.  The $18 is a much larger one.  I asked the BT about the $18 and he just shook his head, shrugged and said he didn’t know why they have it.   I don’t know why anyone would order that and pay the upcharge.   I never seen anyone with it.

Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

I agree. For my last few cruises, when two prices were listed, the cheaper priced one was still as large a martini as I remember.

I had assumed the higher priced ones only might make sense for those without a drink package. I don’t think I ever saw one ordered but most I saw seemed to have the drink package.

Because not everyone has a drink package and that is the price that people without a drink package pay for those drinks.

Can you explain please? Why can I get one in the casino?
