We received a phone call invitation the week before our cruise on the Discovery.  She asked about food allergies and alcohol.  I mentioned that I drink white wine but not red, and the staff knew when we had our experience.

Thank you for this information.  Sometimes it’s rough having allergies and also dislikes 😂.

I just got invited to the 360 (on Discovery).   I'm under a VIP casino comp and booked in a balcony, and I'm elite.

I'll eat anything/everything, drink all that's put in front of me (with the exception of black licorice).

Bring on the octopus.....

How far before the cruise did you receive the call. Woke up this morning with a missed call from the regular customer support line with not voicemail but calling back its the standard menu system. No message. Just curious if I should pursue or not. We leave on the 25th

I think it was within a week of sailing.  That was in November.

How could you tell that it was a call from the regular customer support line? I never answer unknown calls, so I’m wondering.  I don’t want to miss the call.

Called it back and it went straight to the main customer support menu, asking if I was a travel agent, etc

Thank you. I get so many spam calls that I would never call a number back so I was hoping to find out what their number was. I guess I will miss the call.

Sometimes not until you are on the ship, and sometimes before you leave.

Area code 661. Sant Clarita Cal.   Usually never would answer but luckily I did then !

Mine was a 661 area code too but dial back goes to main menu. Maybe I wait it out on hold then but its the normal "hold for navigator" dialog if you don't press anything

We are on Discovery and we were invited to attend.  I’m elite, husband platinum and we are not in a suite.  We were seated next to a couple also not in a suite on their FIRST Princess cruise.  We don’t drink alcohol and I have food allergies.  They were amazing at accommodating both!  They went out of their way to make us feel included and that there was no problem.  Agree with everyone about the food. It felt like a very exclusive, premium, grown up Disney experience. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

The following night the hostess in Skagway dining room asked us how we enjoyed the 360 experience.  This before she scanned our medallions.  I can only say she knew us by name. I’m not sure how since this was early in the cruise.

I also have food allergies. I’m allergic to dairy and I wondered if I would be able to go if I was invited. Sounds like I don’t need to worry about that. Thank you.

Unfortunately the alternative was a sugary fruit punch nothing diet to drink except water. That is not a reason not to go if invited. The food was only half the experience, the tech was the other half.

We're on the April 13, 2024 Emerald sailing.  Got an email about 2 weeks ago with an invite to the 360 dining.  It's now $149 per person.

The Emerald does not have the 360 dinner.

It's beginning to sound like he told me that line, just to appease me.

When I see him I'm going to ask where my invitation is.

We had a cruise booked on the Discovery and were able to sign up for 360 but we were charged for it.  In the end we cancelled the cruise so we didn't get to do it yet.

I did get to do it on Discovery in October.  It is amazing!

I agree that it was amazing and worth seeing. Since, at least for us, it is a one-time experience I have nothing negative to say about it. Was all the food something I would order? No, but I did try everything, much to my wife's shock. You are right about the steak. It was perfectly seasoned and cooked. We are not wine drinkers, but we tried them anyway. Our friends opted for the non-alcoholic drinks. We were not in suites, but both couples were elite. I do not know if that played into our invitation.

As to what they may charge in the future, I cannot even hazard a guess. But for now, make an effort to take part.

They are currently charging $150/pp on the Discovery.

Holly, were you in a suite? Did you pay or was it comped?
