Off Menu Drinks

This is my favourite drink, even if it comes only in cans on the ship.

I disembarked Reflection yesterday and getting a proper Peroni became a challenge. They try to palm you off with the red labelled Peroni bottles which are inferior in quality. Hence the reason for the picture so I could prove to bar staff it was on board.

Summit Martini bar no longer had my favorite Fresca and 25th Anniversary martini on the menu but never had a problem getting one.

Thanks for reminding me of the 25th anniversary martini.  Used to order that often.

These look interesting, too.  Not sure if they are off menu.  https://www.celebritycruises.com/blog/cruise-cocktails

Frozen Toasted Almond

SERVES 1

1 oz. amaretto liqueur
1/2 oz. Kahlúa coffee liqueur
1/2 oz. Baileys Original Irish Cream
1 oz. vanilla ice cream
1 scoop of ice

1. Mix all ingredients in a blender. Serve in a tall stemmed glass.

I always ask them to swirl chocolate around the glass. It's yummy...and it's available on the Classic beverage package!

Rob Roy - similar to Manhattan but with Scotch Whiskey, preferably Glenfiddich.

This made me smile. Thank you for that!

My dear friend, who is also my TA, orders a Rob Roy "up" every night before dinner. He always shares his cherries with his lovely wife, also a dear friend.

What is your favorite off menu drink?

The drink menu's are the bar's are just the "specials" for that bar in my opinion. I order the drink I want which may or may not be on any menu.

 rum old fashioned

 Long Island Ice Tea

 new fashioned

 spicy margarita

 etc...

Do not feel you are constrained to the menu at the bar.  Most bartenders are very skilled and can make just about any drink you want and as others have said, if you tell them what's in it they'll make it for you.

Moscato! We just got off the Diamond after a 17-day B2B and I had it at lunch (on sea days) and dinner every night in the RC dining room, and it wasn’t even listed as being available on the App wine list.

Oops! Just realized this thread is on the Celebrity forum. 😂

 @DaKahuna I totally agree

Some of the best off menu drinks I've had on board have been from the World Class Bar, not that I dislike those on the menu their menu, but if there is a good barman who knows how to make a drink then some of my favourotes I have had there are a Paper Plane, a Boulivardier, a Corpse Reviver No 2, a Division Bell to name but a few. They don't always have the right ingredients but can often find them at other bars given time. They'll often have their own infusions and syrups too

More fun is when one of the bartenders makes something off book and their own creation.

These are a few of my favourites...

My wife's wine of choice is Moscato and we've always managed to get it on Celebrity.
