What’s a wellness check?

Hi everyone! I cruise August 20 and there’s a health questionnaire to fill out online the 19th.  Now I c I am scheduled for a wellness check? Really?  Anyone cruise recently and did u have this wellness check?  Thx

It's usually done through the app, and it's a short series of questions about fever, coughing, COVID symptoms, being pregnant.  No big deal.

But the app said I needed to confirm an appt?  Didn’t make sense to me?

At checkin sometimes they re-ask you the same questions they ask in the app. Don't worry about it. RCI's IT does a lot of things that make no sense to anyone.

 

Did you answer yes to any of the questions?

Be careful you don’t accidentally by mistake check yes to any questions if it should be a no answer.

That time is your boarding time.  They do the wellness check at boarding.

Don't sweat the wellness check. It's 4 generic questions. At this point they need to completely get rid of it other than the pregnancy attestation.

It's really not that big a deal. They'll ask you if you have certain symptoms in the past 2 weeks. You're not revealing anything personal like whether or not you have a certain disease. They ask it again during boarding to make sure things haven't changed.

 

And the appointment time is for when you arrive at the terminal.

It's 24 hours, not 2 weeks. And at the port, assuming you've done the wellness check in the app, they won't ask you any specific questions other than "has anything changed" or even "all of you feel good today?"

turns out if I wouldve clicked on the wellness check, I would lose my 11am checkin time.  its to be ignored, will just answer the questions this saturday.  thx everyone!

Doing your online wellness check doesn't affect your selected check-in time.

This is not the wellness check the day before, it’s on the app and when I click the appt shows up.  I just ignored it.

They haven't asked you the 4 questions at check-in?  They have asked me on all of my 8

I do not think it is difficult to answer but we were not. Mostly out of Bayonne and Baltimore.

The very first was out of FLL.. that one I do not remember.

We do little tailgate parties before boarding so by the time we board mental state is pretty good. 🙂
