I just made final payment in my upcoming cruise.

I received a message about "Move Up",

We have never moved up but I was curious so I took a look.

So, I see there is an Ultra Deluxe Concierge and Ultra Deluxe Veranda cabins ?

My question is what's the difference between Regular and Deluxe ?

Description does not go into detail.

Thanx !

Go to the ships deck plan and see what cabins are labeled as Ultra Deluxe.

I was curious what that meant, too, and after reading your post ran across this old post here: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2930498-summit-ultra-deluxe-concierge-stateroom/#comment-66160723

There's also this thread earlier this year about UD Veranda cabins you might find interesting: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2926243-are-ultra-deluxe-veranda-stateroom-the-largest-cabins/

Hope this helps,

We won a Move-Up bid to an Ultra Deluxe Concierge cabin. When we placed the bid that cabin was described as facing the wake of the ship (on the aft). When we won the bid we were  placed in an Ultra Deluxe Concierge cabin on the side of the ship sandwiched between a Sky Suite and Royal Suite. The balcony is bigger but no aft view.

This is on the Constellation.

Ultra Deluxe is aft facing on M class.   Ultra Deluxe Concierge there are only 4 are on the side of the ship on deck 6 with a deeper balcony.

I’ve booked one of those by accident and was pleased to find out later about the deeper balcony but then I started wondering..do they make the cabin darker?

Can anyone answer a simple question about the Ultra Deluxe Concierge Cabins on the Infinity? I know the normal Concierge Cabins are shower only in the Bathrooms. The deck plans seem to indicate that the UC might have a tub/shower. Can anyone comment?

Thanks

What makes you think there is a bathtub?

The room layout picture they showed in the MoveUp offer does not look like a shower to me. Its more tub like, as it does not show a shower door. Here is a clip from it.

On Infinity it's still going to be a shower curtain.   I've stayed in these rooms and they are just like any other concierge cabin but are just a touch wider (easier to walk by the end of the bed) and the balcony is way deeper.

We stayed in 7202 on Infinity and it was shower only. Our cabin was significantly bigger than any concierge cabin we had in the past, with tons of storage space. After we walked through the main cabin section, there was a sitting room with 2 couches that could be set up as beds. After that were the sliders for the largest veranda we've ever had.

We were in that Sky Suite last year. Nice & quiet back there.
