You should get an email that they forwarded the info onto Carnival and then another one when Carnival responds.

@BlerkOne, yes I did get the email from Stockperks and am now waiting for the email from Carnival, just does not seem very streamlined to me, a lot of emails going back and forth until process complete.

Appreciate your post from a few days ago with the info on how to contact Stockperks, saving for future reference/need.

It's a different process for sure. One area that is streamlined for me is that once the proof is accepted, you don't have to keep uploading. If you have another cruise before July (or whenever the current period expires), you just provide the ship and sail date. Even if on another Carnival brand like Princess

Not a huge fan of this but I paired my etrade account with it because Carnival emailed me back saying I have to use it.
If it's hacked, I'll just change my etrade account password.  I get notifications for anything that happens with my account so I can easily just shut it down.
It's like how just yesterday someone used one of my credit cards that is only used to pay paramount monthly, just so the card stays active.  So they shut it down and I'll have a new one in a few days.  I already have a new number.

I'm not positive, but suspect you could change the password as soon as they accept your proof. They have no need to keep checking.

If I was going to give them a password, I would have changed it first, and later changed it back.

For others, try putting Fidelity as your brokerage.

I have a ton of cruises booked with Carnival.  Most of them the shareholder obc will be denied because they are basically free cruises.  But a few are Ultras, which for me, I have to pay towards.  So I guess I will see how it goes with this new system.  If they deny for everything, I'll dump the stock as a loss.
Plaid has not proven to be insecure, so I'm good with it.

Got email today, Carnival Cabin Confirmation update with the $100 OBC noted. So process for me took from Friday to following Thursday.

Interestingly though we “may” not even be on our Sunday January 21 cruise as husband is having Emergency Gallbladder Surgery, so for the first time in 40+ cruises Travel Insurance here I come. And what am I currently doing on cc you might ask, “trying to distract myself and pass the time!”

My update/timeline - 1) downloaded App and submitted proof of shares by attaching a pic on Friday January 12th

2) today Tuesday January 16 I received email saying my Manual Brokerage Statement was Processed and instructed me to go to App to “explore and redeem perks”

So I did that, searched around a little bit, came upon page that asks for Cruise info, and completed that.
Now it is wait and see again.

@cellfree, I did the same. You say you searched around a bit and came upon the page that asks for cruise information?  WHERE, oh where, did you find it? I'm at a loss.  Stockperks notified me to "explore and redeem perks", too, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how. 😦 I've sent an email to the stockperks address posted by @BlerkOne, so hopefully they'll answer or I'll figure it out somehow.  Thanks for any help you can send me.

Click on perks in bottom left corner, click on Carnival Corp & plc, click on Carnival Cruise Line, click on redemptions. There it will tell you the status of your filing.

@canes20, that's precisely what I've done. Perks...Carnival Corp...Carnival Cruise Line...but it won't let me click the "redeem" tab. Thanks 🥺

I do not see where to put in my cruise information. That's what I need to do, I am assuming.

Same here. I got the email saying my shares were confirmed but the "Redeem" button is not clickable even though my share are showing right above it. Please let me know if you get a resolution.

Thanks!

My entire process took from a Friday to following Thursday. Just now I tried to look back and see if I could find what I found - yikes - sorry - as I don’t have anything in process I cannot find what I found to complete the process. (Now that’s a crazy sentence!) Good luck, lots of hoops to get through, but first you need to find the hoops.

Mine worked.
The two free casino cruises were invalidated for the credit
The cruise that is still a casino cruise, but it's an Ultra so for us to have a balcony, we pay about $500 each for it to chose the balcony we wanted.  The stock credit is on that one.
The rest of of the year our cruises are free, so I won't even bother with the stock credit.
For 2025, we have two that the offer is a little different so we pay about $300 each for a balcony, so I'll give that a try when we get closer to the end of this year.

"This benefit is non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be used for casino credits/charges and gratuities charged to your onboard account."

Is the part about gratuities new?  On our cruises the Stockholder OBC was applied to gratuities as well.

Did you find out if the OBC can still be used towards gratuities? We were able to use the OBC towards gratuities as late as Dec 2023.

What happens when you do not have a smartphone capable of downloading this Stock Perks app?

Last time I looked, there was no way to do it w/o the app, but you could try eusbmitting to Stockperks via their email.

I haven't had to use them yet, as mine were approved the old way before Stockperks. So my next submission will be after the vote in a couple months.

If you find out, please let us know.

Stockperks doesn't approve or deny OBC. They just accept or reject ownership of the stock and forward that onto the cruise line. I think you need to contact Carnival to verify what the OBC is for.

Guess I am losing my mind. Talked to my PVP and the OBC I have is from stockholder ownership. I would have lost everything on a bet because I really do not remember sending in the email to get the credit the old way, thought what I had was a booking perk.

I'm still stuck with the greyed out Redeem Perk button after they verified my share ownership.  Haven't received a response from StockPerks or Carnival about how to get past this.

Same!  I'm really frustrated with this. On the Princess boards, there are people experiencing the same thing.  I found this out when googling the problem. 🫤

Apparently I am in the same stockperks boat of verified stock, greyed out redeem perk button and no response from Stockperks yet as to how to access my perk.  Hopefully someone will get some useful info.

Perhaps you didn't? In the past I have heard of the credit being applied to a cruise without being specifically applied for. I guess an agent could have been trying to save time and keystrokes?

Well isn’t that ridiculous!

Sure sounds like it. Though this morning I got email from Stockperks saying the confirmed my ownership of Carnival stock. Went back to app...hit the Green redeem perk button, filled in the sailing info...now waiting for Carnival email, though the app did yell at me saying I'm within 4 weeks of sailing, but they'll work hard to get my OBC added to my sailing...great.
