As the title says, can I purchase the deluxe beverage package be purchased at suite lounge bar? Or do I need to go to a public area bar? Sailing Allure in a couple of weeks. Thank you in advance.

Is there a reason you're not just purchasing it pre-cruise?

Yes. I have an OBC from my TA that won't hit my account until I board. Want to use it toward the beverage package purchase.

How much is the OBC?  With the price difference you might just be wasting your OBC by paying substantially more.

They will sell you the beverage package at the suite bar. They'll sell it at any bar. They'll sell it in the MDR, at the pool, in the men's room, at your muster station. They are whoring that package out with complete desperation 24/7.  You could be saying goodbye to grandma in the infirmary at 3am and there will be someone there willing to sell you the drink package.

Gotta ask the question. Why would you want to go to a bar that gives you alcohol for free and try to spend several hundred dollars to pay for what you're already getting free?

Because we are not planning to schlep up to the suite lounge bar every time we want a drink, just to get a free drink.

You can cash out any type of OBC (even non refundable) via the slot machine in the casino.

Wow, I had no idea. Counting the OBC I got from redeeming my RCI credit card rewards points, and our TA OBC, I will have $510 in OBC’s. My thought was to wait onboard and purchase the deluxe beverage package with it. After using the OBCs, it should come out to around $90 total for a 3 night cruise on Allure - I think my math is correct on that?

Travel agent OBC won't necessarily hit your account the first day.

That’s true, but once it does it will bring my account back up? For example, I spend $250 and it goes on my account, but the my OBC kicks in for $250 and brings my account back down to $0.
