What has anyone won on Princess prizes

We won a $250.00 credit when Princess prizes first began and that was on a 5 day cruise in 2022.  2 14 day cruises and 1 7 day cruise since then but did not win anything.

I know someone who won an upgrade to Elite status for the rest of the cruise; another friend won a shore excursion credit

If you were to win temporary Elite status, what is the alternative if you are already Elite?

We’ve only won $25 on 3 different cruises.  But, my cousin won $5000 and a good friend won a free 7 night cruise in a balcony cabin.

If you purchased Princess Premium or paid $10 pp/pd, you get an electronic entry into the Princess Prizes every time you open your cabin door.

We won 2x$250 OBC and and 4x$25 OBC as well as a floral arrangement and chocolate covered strawberries.

I may be wrong, but I think it only applies to the door being opened when at sea.  It is like the casino in terms of being a prize based game so cannot be played when docked.

I wouldn't want Elite status. A real prize would be Suite status. IMHO

Same here!  I would love to have my breakfast every morning in the designated specialty restaurant and the reserve class dining.

What’s stopping you from standing an hour, two, or more, just opening and closing your cabin door, for multiple entry into the prizes draw?

It only enters every five minutes, and you don't get an entry for every open/close. Some are "sorry, try again", some get you an entry.
