The full premium drink package on X is pretty great compared to the one extra drink Pinnacle get on Royal.

That's only if you drink more than 6 drinks. On a cruise right now and we don't always use the 6. We get water, fresh oj and sodas and only use all 6 on some days.

You can get water, energy drinks FREE for the whole sailing and don't need to worry about the bills.Don't forget you also get UNLIMITED laundry.

We just returned from B2B on the Harmony and found out real quickly what ‘not Pinnacle enough” meant. It’s the first time we were completely shut out from Coastal Kitchen - not even one night was allowed. At 911 points we were surprised it meant nothing. The Loyalty Ambassador seemed miffed that we even asked about the cut off line. He informed us between suites guests and casino masters it’s unlikely we would be allowed in Coastal Kitchen going forward.  So free internet and one extra drink and bottle wine was the only real difference between us and Diamond+. It was really a bit of a let down and like some previous posters stated, we are hoping for a refreshing change on our future Celebrity cruises. Although we may not get full Zeneth benefits, we don’t get full pinnacle benefits with Royal anymore either.

With these cuts to Pinnacle and D+ benefits, wife and I are glad we sailed with MSC more. Decision was made when RCCL decided to kick D+ out of the concierge lounge a few years ago and gave a bad excuse. Cruise before, D+ were welcomed in concierge loung and the following cruise, we were not.

RCCL was getting 98% of our cruise money. Now we spend about 50% with RCCL. Took us 4 years to get to 350 points and now it will probably take us 7 more years to get the next 350 points to make pinnacle.

Exactly.  Just talked to Amit who is concierge from the CL last night again here on Serenade.  Since shoreside is restricting Pinnies to just the top 20...and there are minimal suites on this class of ship..he told us it is still very empty in there.  He was so bored he spent 45 minutes talking to us in the VCL.  Too many cutbacks....in all areas...and continues with more.

We have ended our 20 year loyal stint with Royal.  Have a few still on the books, but Viking and Celebrity will be our go to cruises now...but will also be booking Silverseas in the future.  So we are sort of keeping some of our $$ in the same family.  😉

Really? I don’t see it any better than the MDR.😬

Sherri🙂

Atmosphere...without the screaming children or sitting 1.5 inches from the next table.  😉   Much better service.

We do the MDR every night for dinner...that is enough for us.

Got the call last week for my Reflection sailing this week.  The X equivalent of a suite concierge (but the shoreside team) calls each Zenith member to review any needs for an upcoming cruise.

Caller ID says Royal Caribbean but if you see a call coming in from Royal just before an X cruise it's probably the X suite/zenith shoreside team calling to review your needs for the cruise.

Same can be said for actually being a P.
On my last 2 cruises I was Not Pinnacle Enough to be allowed into CK or the lounge. In my mind you either are a P or you are not.
My future cruise bookings reflect my frustration with RCI. The Zenith match could not have come at a more appropriate time

Hello,

Prior to departing on this cruise (greetings from Bilbao), I didn’t get the ‘You lucky Pinnacle Person’ email, only one welcoming me to the Crown Lounge. But, as fortune favours the brave, first thing on board I presented myself at CK and asked to be let-in. I was told it was space dependant so I was booked-in for that night only. Next day I was told I was booked-in for the rest of the week.  I just let myself into the Concierge Lounge as the card worked the door and no funny looks from the concierge either - especially as she remembers me from June! 38 Pinnacles on this cruise.

I’m not jumping exclusively to X unless and until they match Royal’s single supplement. In the meantime I’ll chip away at the CC points deficit one cruise at a time.

 Adios Amigos,

Cublet

I don’t need atmosphere for breakfast and I think the few times we have gone, service has been slow.  My husband likes going to Giovanni’s for the Pinnacle breakfast but my choice is WJ.

That is what is nice about choices.  Can you imagine going into Baskin Robbins with only one flavor available?  😉

Just announced by the Tampa Port Authority that NCL is bringing their high end Oceania Cruise line to Tampa in 2026 -opportunities abound😇⛴️

I never said it was not nice to have choices🙄. I am just expressing a different experience in the pinnacle breakfast which leads to my choice of WJ.

I couldn’t edit my other post, but I just saw a post in FB from a local tv station with this news! It will be so. Ice to have a luxury cruise line cruising so close to home

Should also suck Silversea or Regent into looking at cruising out of Tampa as well😇
