kapcruiser Posted April 27, 2012 #1 Share Posted April 27, 2012 Can you design your own sandwich?
katiel53 Posted April 27, 2012 #2 Share Posted April 27, 2012 Yes, up to a point. Anything that is one the menu can be added to a sandwich, but if the ingredients aren't there, not too likely.
happy cruzin Posted April 27, 2012 #3 Share Posted April 27, 2012 Yes - using the items "stocked" - and available - in the deli. You can choose the bread, meat, cheese, condiments, toppings etc and then decide grilled....or not. ;)
vivavegas Posted April 27, 2012 #4 Share Posted April 27, 2012 If it's on the menu of stock items, they'll make it for you!:)

Rottweiler Puppy Posted April 27, 2012 #6 Share Posted April 27, 2012 I always order mine with double meat! :) I tried to but was told they cant do that. They hardly put any meat on those thigs as it is. So I ordered two and chucked the extra bread.

Depends on the ship and who's making it at the time. You found an inflexible one. Sometimes I feel it has more to do with language ability, I once asked for something NOT to be on my sandwich, had to pick it off myself.
DAllenTCY Posted April 28, 2012 #9 Share Posted April 28, 2012 I never find enough meat on my pizza, so I order two slices and combine the toppings.....sometimes you've got to improvise.....no worries. David
cruisealot Posted April 28, 2012 #10 Share Posted April 28, 2012 I've never had any problems getting my sandwich, or any other menu item, anywhere on the ship. The sandwhichs are made in front of you so if they put something on or leave something off let them know and they will fix it. I also think the sandwhichs are pretty tasty. The think I don't understand about the deli is why I can't get chips or french fries with my sancwhich!

So I ordered two and chucked the extra bread. Yes, they told me the same thing when I wanted a ham & swiss on rye in lieu of the ham and american cheese that is on the menu selection. I thought is was odd too, being that they had all of the items necessary. Perhaps it depends on the ship and staff. .

jasbo49 Posted September 10, 2012 #21 Share Posted September 10, 2012 I've gotten wild and crazy a couple times and ordered my tuna with wheat bread instead of the usual white. I know, call me wacky. Anyhow, I think that's as far out of the box as you can go. Jim

Talus731 Posted September 10, 2012 #24 Share Posted September 10, 2012 Never had a problem ordering what we wanted. On our last cruise nothing looked good to the hubby. I was hungry and tired of walking in circles and asked him if he had to make himself lunch what would he want???? His response, cheese and mustard sandwich. So I walked to the deli and ordered one. The guy behind the counter looked at me like I was nuts and asked if I was sure that's all I wanted. I said that's what he wanted and handed the sandwich to my husband. Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk
mollynmax Posted September 10, 2012 #25 Share Posted September 10, 2012 I have always gotten the best ham & swiss hot sandwiches on the Triumph. They are the best with mustard, and a big dill pickle!!! Go get some potato salad from the salad bar to really enjoy!!!
