It's on the list of cruises we have done. However this was the last Adonia. Sister to Oceana. Went back to Princess as Sea Princess after 2/3 years. Bruce62 Posted September 11, 2017 #11 Share Posted September 11, 2017 I have 2 or 3 in mind, but will wait until on board Azura this Saturday, to take advantage of the low deposit, and extra OBC. These will then revert to my TA for the extra discount. I like to book early, but who knows what's around the corner and the £50 deposit is less than my insurance excess, so makes sense for me. Not to mention the extra few ££££s in my account for the next 18-24 months.
cruiser1955 Posted September 11, 2017 #12 Share Posted September 11, 2017 Me done as well now until October 19. Unless there is another offer like I had in June for Arcadia:D Maybe a quick pre-Christmas in 19 but no brochures for that until next year,

NSWP Posted September 12, 2017 #15 Share Posted September 12, 2017 Mr Google will very quickly tell you what has happened to Sea Princess if you ask him nicely.;p And sister ship Sun Princess and another sister, P&O Australia's 'Pacific Explorer' - ex Dawn Princess. All 'Sun Class vessels of 77,000 tonnes with 2000 pax. Been on all of them. But you will have to fly 'down under to get on them !!' A mere 23 hours in the air !!:( Bear in mind the Sun Class ships are 20-25 years old and often experience various issues.
Rare Selbourne Posted September 12, 2017 #16 Share Posted September 12, 2017 Have people received a new full size P&O brochure for cruises up to October 2019? I received a thin summary version from P&O last week, but someone was quoting from the 'new brochure' on the thread regarding the policy on taking alcohol on board. The P&O website only shows the old version with cruises up to Spring 2019. Thanks.

cruiser1955 Posted September 12, 2017 #19 Share Posted September 12, 2017 Have people received a new full size P&O brochure for cruises up to October 2019? I received a thin summary version from P&O last week, but someone was quoting from the 'new brochure' on the thread regarding the policy on taking alcohol on board. The P&O website only shows the old version with cruises up to Spring 2019. Thanks. Selbourne, I've downloaded the PDF version of the 2018-2019 brochure. Did a search on alcohol and this was all I could find. This is the statement on alcohol policy: It's a cut and paste, but I've tried to tidy it up a bit. Our policy for the responsible serving of alcohol applies at all times. We reserve the right to deny access to the ship to anyone who appears to be heavily under the influence of alcohol. We may also confiscate alcohol in the terminal and at the gangway, and it may be destroyed. On board, bar staff may refuse service if a guest appears to be inebriated. Any offensive or unruly behaviour may result in individuals or the whole group being asked to leave the venue. Dangerous or violent behaviour will not be tolerated and will likely result in the termination of the involved guests’ holidays and their disembarkation from the ship. Anyone under the age of 18 (under 21 when in United States of America waters) will not be served alcoholic beverages on board and must not be in possession of alcohol. Guests may be asked to verify their age. It is prohibited to attempt to purchase alcohol for those under 18 in the bars and shops on board. 16 and 17 year olds may be bought beer, cider or wine to drink with a meal in the restaurants when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Alcoholic beverages consumed in the public areas on board will be subject to a corkage charge and enjoyment of alcohol in a public area will always be subject to appropriate standards of behaviour being met. For further information on our alcohol guidelines and corkage charges please refer to the Advice Centre on our website
terrierjohn Posted September 12, 2017 #20 Share Posted September 12, 2017 Just had our Aurora April 2019 Med cruise confirmed, our TA said she managed to secure the last available accessible balcony for us. First time on Aurora for us, I do hope she lives up to some of the hype on here and that we don't miss the extent of bars and entertainment venues we are used to on her big sisters. We are hoping to book onboard Azura next week.It will be the first time we have tried Aurora too and like the choice of entertainment etc on the larger ships. However we have sailed on Arcadia which I understand is a similar size to Aurora and were very happy on our 2 cruises on her.Interesting itinerary with I think the only opportunity to visit Malta without going on a fly cruise
