Happy Hour on Regatta

Let yet?

Happy hour is from 5-6 in Martini's and probably in the Grand Bar and Horizons also. (I say probably because I have not been on Regatta recently. It is in all 3 on other ships)

You can take your second glass of wine to the DR if you can resist drinking both glasses at Happy Hour.

I think it is just in Horizons & Martinis on the small ships

we have not been on the R ships for a couple of yrs either

If you're talking about Happy Hour promotions and prices, I don't believe that the Waves Bar participates on any of the ships, as they are closing up shop by that hour.

The Casino Bar on the larger ships, also does not offer Happy Hour pricing, but that may be a function of its' acting as the service bar for the Grand Dining Room and Room Service.

The only bar we have been to during Happy Hour is the Casino Bar -- it definitely has Happy Hour (Riviera and Marina).

I beg to differ. We have had Happy Hour pricing in the Casino bar and in the Lounge during trivia along with Horizons and Martinis.

Referring to R ships lol

No problems there

On our recent cruise the cd moved happy hour up in the lounge to coincide with 4:30 trivia

Which lounge is being referred to? Is it the theatre/show lounge i.e. Regatta Lounge? I've enjoyed a drink in there when an event is on but can not imagine the Lounge being opened during 'happy hour' just for drinks. Perhaps I am wrong. That said I would not go to the 'show lounge' on the O class ships for a cocktail, 2 for 1 or not. Unlike the R ships it is not venue conducive to socializing.

It is open for happy hour during trivia if trivia is scheduled that day

R ship lounges. Regatta lounge et al

Here is the schedule from last year's Regatta cruise showing the times and places for happy hour and trivia. I hope it helps; but of course it can easily change from day to day and cruise to cruise. This was a sea day.

Speaking of bars on Regatta: perhaps some of you remember Gusti, the evening bartender in Martini's. One of the nicest fellows you'd ever want to meet.

I just got an e-mail from him that he is home in Bali while his wife is pregnant. For now, he's running a small transport service for visiting tourists. Hopefully, we'll see him back with Oceania at some future point.

Also, I can't remember the name of the terrific piano player in Martini's - another great crew member (from Croatia or thereabouts?). Pretty much every time we walked into Martini's he'd start playing "I left my heart in SF."
