Anyone just off Grandeur and know who the new captain is? I know Captain Been went to Freedom after being on Grandeur for part of his rotation. Who is the new captain going to be?

Just got off Jewel today, and Captain Thore said he is moving to Indy in January. It was indicated by other senior crew members that a 'female captain' was coming to Jewel...they seemed to imply Capt Lis, but would not give us a name.

Beth, I was just thinking the same thing. Although I also heard Liz mentioned a few times while onboard Jewel last week.

Captain Johnny just posted on Twitter that beginning today, he is on Allure for the next 10 weeks

Did a search and it looks like Tor Olsen might be going to the Serenade in November? At least that's what his Linkedin account says...:confused:

😞 A bit disappointed that we will not have captain Tor next month... He is our favorite captain! We will definitely miss him.

Freedom will have Capt Ron and Capt Espen, Capt Tor is moving to Serenade in November to rotate with Capt Krzyszthof (pronounced Christof, at least it sounded like that...you have to take into account Capt Rune's Norwegian accent. LOL)

Ole-Johan Gronhaug has filled in before (RD 2010), I don't know if GR is his permanent assignment since he's supposed to be in rotation on BR

How fast a staff captain moves up not only depends on their time at the staff captain level but also if they have all classes RCI wants them to have.

Capt Teige is on a leave of absence (ailing parents) and I can't tell you yet where Capt Rune is going.
