You do realize that September is during PEAK Hurricane Season, correct??

The official hurricane season for the Atlantic Basin (the Atlantic Ocean, the Caribbean Sea, and the Gulf of Mexico) is from 1 June to 30 November. As seen in the graph above, the peak of the season is from mid-August to late October. However, deadly hurricanes can occur anytime in the hurricane season.

Hurricanes can happen any time...Hurricane Alex this year was in January - started the "season" off just a bit earlier than normal...

Matthew passed us yesterday as a strong tropical storm and some damage done across the island with flooding, landslides and such - with it intensifying to a hurricane, those countries in its path need to be prepared!

That September cruise people are questioning on Celebrity is actually a Pacific Coastal cruise, not a Caribbean cruise.
