jhannah Posted March 4, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 4, 2006 The ms Noordam is back in NYC after her maiden voyage. We've had a few days of "radio silence" from our CC friends onboard ... most likely because the ship's satellite internet connection was down. Hopefully we'll start hearing from them soon. They have over 100 days on HAL and never expirenced waves that big before! They think because the Noordam was a much bigger ship, it faired well also! JRachels Posted March 5, 2006 #25 Share Posted March 5, 2006 WHAT 42 ft waves??? On the Noordam??!!? How did I miss that posting?? After the 50 - 60 foot waves I experienced on the Rotterdam V, this was nothing at all. Very pleasant. Makes you feel like you were really on a ship. :p It also kept the amatures in their cabins. :D Joyce
