We had a minisuite on the Crown Princess last November-E731. It had the motion lights. We have E731 on the Sapphire Princess in May. I’ll be better prepared this time.

Same here, mainly because we eat early. Usually quite a crowd waiting when we are leaving. Our preference is a real table for two (not bench) with the same servers. We have been able to do that on most of our cruises (6) since reopening.

I don't know. Have you tried a google search for ports large cruise ships cannot visit?

The contracts for the Sun class were made before the pandemic. Current Princess ships are having trouble staffing 2 MDRs out of three. How are they going to staff even bigger ships with multiple dining rooms. The bigger the ship, the fewer the ports it can visit. The Cabana cabins look to be a deluxe balcony with an unknown use attached space. What is the Cabana good for? Actually, I am not going to get into all the reasons I think the Sun will be a failure. Plenty of posts before me. Also, the only current Princess ship I haven't sailed on is the Sky Princess.

Royal, Regal, Enchanted, Discovery have Crooners. Majestic targeted Asian market, so just the Sky was screwed up. IMO, the Sun class is going to be a disaster even with Crooners.

The only time we enjoy meeting others is after a few drinks. Otherwise, we don't go to Meet & Greets or Sailaways. We always request tables for two, even at the Most Traveled Luncheon.

I was also on the Enchanted in July and was told it was closed for technical reasons. I was on the Crown in November and was told it had been closed since May. I will be on the Discovery in February and have been told it is open. Let's hope so. I was on the Enchanted last Spring and really enjoyed lunch with a Beyond Burger and Guinness.

Looked at the fine print of the current BSE sale. Have the terms always been "Credit must be used on the single voyage that it was awarded in connection with, is not redeemable for cash, cannot be used in the casino, is not applicable during the land portion of cruisetours, and expires at the end of that voyage."

I’ve never had trouble booking Sabatinis on the ship. Of course, we book early - 6:30, it never seems crowded. I certainly wouldn’t put myself through all that grief for a dinner. OTOH, I don’t think I will be booking any more Princess cruises, mainly because of their land support. I’m sick of waiting months for refunds, seldom getting replies to emails, and the long hold times.

I'm booked on this cruise, but the deep end posters have caused me to reconsider it. The eclipse only takes up a small part of the cruise. Not sure I want to spend the rest of it with a bunch of fanatics. Stopped looking at the Roll Call. Also, I noticed the path is directly over my hometown in Ohio. Might be time for a reunion.

Before update I had Dine My Way reservation Table for Two at 5:00 PM every night for my cruise in February. After update my reservation showed Share with Others at 5:00 PM. Every time I tried to change it to Table for Two it would confirm Share with Others. I was able to go to each night and change it to Table for Two.

Good for you. That should make all of us who have been waiting months feel hopeful.

Were you in port? Often you have to pay city tax.

I took a Yoga class last Spring on the Enchanted Princess. There was one other person in the class. The instructor had to quit after the second class, because he hurt his back. I got a prorated refund.

Since Elites will get the opportunity to book the new 2024 cruises on December 13, does that mean they have the opportunity to book at the current rates?

I imagine the most forward balcony might be. We usually try for the most aft. We recently had the most aft on the Crown and a few years ago the second most forward. Liked them both.
