  1. We enjoy walking the Harbor Walkway. We walk to the Public Garedens. Near by is the Citidel on the Mount. Thru the town walk. The Maritime Harbor Museum is our favorite with exhibits of the Titanic.
  2. Tinykygal, Forgot to mention but a distance, the Kennedy Museum was wonderful if you were brought up and remembered the president.
  3. Boston is one of our NE/CAN ports we have in all our sailings. Sadly we have exhausted the City from the first time we visited. Sometimes we get off and some we stay on and enjoy the ship with most of the passengers off. On this coming voyage, we are not sure of we will come off. But we too have always heard about the North Side Italian portion of the city. Heard many, many restaurants and bakeries. We agree that the high lights attractions a quite a distance away. MyDW love to see the Public Gardens especially in the Summer. Enjoy the bucket list but I must disagree and think we in Brooklyn, NY has the better Cannolis.
  4. Changes were great on Cunard with island music like old days but no steel drums. Melody was there.
  5. I lost them to in the past due to the changes. Nooradam was the last. Very disappointing for a new ship when it came out. Took 7 days to get a decent steak from the kitchen. But we did like the mini cabin.
  6. So happy that the ship offered the dinners for 26 evenings but unfortunately our sailing did not have that opportunity. I am going to let this point settle to personal opinion. Happy a good cruise in the future.....
  7. The passage way is on the Starboard side just before the doorway to the Promenade Deck doors. Pass the Elevator bank. The red arrow is the Chef's Gallery. My DW and I used it every night after the PG. Yes you can not go thru the Grill Bar but I wouldn't call it a blockage as it is part of the structure. Remember Speciality Restaurant was not held each evening on our sailing.
  8. On our recent sailing no problem each evening. They do not use it for evening meals. No.... we never had a problem with the walk thru. Really never influence us to purchase. Just a pass thru.... Even look out the window
  9. We use to enjoy hearing them in the pier during Embarkation. And once docked they were invited in the theater.
  10. Well I know that we all on June 30th hope and pray we will not be effected. 68 days and still counting to enjoy her and all she offers. Keeping an open mind as I have personally experienced close to cancelled sailing twice on the QE2 in he past. Once at sea with any engine problem and the 92 Cape Cod incident with a grounding. The engine problem resolved in several hours with some inconveniences during the day. And the Cape Cod incident, we were saved when she started to sail two voyages before ours. So close calls.
  11. Yes you can walk thru Deck 7 inside thru the passage way by Chef's Gallery on the starboard side
  12. We never thought it to be a big deal when we came out of the PG. Just used a different traffic pattern. Sea Air is good for a after meal stroll.
  13. Being on the QM2 for 17 years, I never had a blockage of the Deck 7 Promenade Deck except when they may be doing maintenance or painting. And they try to limit the area. Promenade Deck is continously open except for the front and rear pass thru walkway. Must mean inside of Deck 7.
  14. sfred, I think everyone will agree the area around the Illuminations Theater on Deck 2. Around the sides near Connexions to the Computer Room where the Ships what I call the Plaque Room from Ports Around The World. Also Deck 3 around the Illuminations from Port Side to Starboard where the Gallery of Stars who sailed in the past. Deck 3 to the Queens Room thru the Art Gallery and also the Secret Corridor of Solo Cabins Just to name a few.....
  15. We too love and enjoy and will book PG in the future after experiencing it for the first time last September. Yes we did like BC as a pre grill experience in the past but taken to PG. We do not find the deck plan of the QM2 difficult. Actually not that we need it but we look at the deck plan during the month before a sailing just to remind us. Actually every time we board her at Brooklyn, venturing up the two gangways, entering the ship we feel like we just got off yesterday. It all comes back to us. It's like returning to a second home. Yes she does have pathways not like now a days Mega ship also like those nooks and crannies. Nice conversing with you!
  16. Really never knew that to be the case. I worked around there in the past and the pier where the parking is short term for the day. You should call the BAT administration to see the policy. They are very protective with that property since our hospital was allowed to park there daily as overflow.
  17. I still rely on Burger King and their making my burger my way. But A&W with the frosted glass of root beer w seasoned twist fries.
  18. Not sure they would be able to share machines with the different class cabins.
  19. Sorry Baltimore doesn't have the pizzerias we have in Brooklyn, NY. Our Pizza Maker use to come off the boat and taught those willing to pass tradition down from that point on. One of our pizzeria make their tomato sauce from San Marzano, greenhouse basil, buffalo mozz cheese and deep red pepperoni that cups like a shot glass w the tasty grease. It's not uncommon to find this in NYC - the Big Apple. The pepperoni is flown in on a weekly basis. And we LOVE different cheese pizzas. Our pizzerias make their mozz each morning in that tasty milky broth. Please find the pizzeria that will satisfy your old time taste.
  20. We do have 2 posted on the Roll Call already.
  21. Entrances for Broadwalk Cafe May I help......taken last September 2022 - Deck 12 - By Elevator Bank/Stairway D - Aft
  22. Unfortunately we prefer hired vehicle like Dial 7 when coming home from a entertainment event. Going to such an events we use a local car service we favor and have a personal rapore with.
