Should I book my America's Cup St. Martin excursion now? Discounts later on?

I seem to remember reading that Celebrity extended discounts on excursions.

We are interested in the America's Cup excursion in St. Martin in early December. It is already booked directly, but can be booked on Celebrity's site.

Wondering if we should wait for possible Celebrity discount on excursions or book now, so far in advance before our Reflection cruise.

Input appreciated.

If it is important to you, book now. If it goes on sale, you can always cancel and rebook.

We leave on Equinox in mid May and last week "some" of our excursions were offered at 20% off, but not all of them which we were offered for our January 2017 Caribbean cruise, so it's a chance you take. Also, the fine print said the discount didn't apply if you cancelled and rebooked. Just our experience.

we just did it last week and booked it about 3 months before we sailed. it was sold out about 2 months in advance of our cruise.

there's such a limited amount of space on the yachts and you don't want to miss it. it's the best excursion we've ever done, hands down.

Have to echo eatdrinkfly. One of the best excursions and worth it at full price. Hubby bought shirt which he wore and then got another one free when we raced in Cozumel.

The America's Cup is a very popular excursion and sells out quickly! ;)

Our daughter's family was sailing on Celebrity with their best friend's family.

The friends booked early. Our daughter thought a month in advance would be enough time.

Wrong! It was already sold out! :eek:

We took America's Cup in St. Maarten in Oct. on RCCL and when RCCL had a 20% off excursion sale, this tour was not discounted so I wouldn't wait. It was a lot of fun.

To join the others.... yes book asap. Not all cruise itineraries even offer discounts. And certainly not on the super popular limited space excursions.

I am going to repeat what others have said. This was one of our favorite excursions and one we would definitely book again. It is worth every penny and loads of fun.

I seriously doubt that excursion will be discounted. We booked 3 months in advance. Well worth doing it once.

We got 20% offer 4 months out of our Reflection cruise last year and that also included fine dinning !

If it's something you really want to do, book early, it's a popular excursion. Also with the change X just made, you can use your OBC if it's from X and not your TA.

This was the best excursion I've ever been on, and I'd do it again. It was exhilarating! Enjoy!

Thanks for this info. I was wondering if they were even still doing this excursion after the hurricane. So sad...

I am curious what the Americas Cup excursion is. The Americas Cup is now New Zealand's cup and the next event will be held downunder in New Zealand

Book now, it's the best excursion we have ever been on. Absolutely terrifying but immediately wanted to do it again. Bought the T shirt.
