As Royal is updating their Voyager and Freedom ships, they have been adding cabins on Deck 12 and expanding the former St Tropez. Has anyone seen any significant passenger usage? I thought it might be fun to take a poll as to what some folks might like to see up there. Unfortunately, in creating a poll someone has to come up with choices. I hope you find them interesting. Feel free to add your own in the replies. Have fun with it, be crazy.

For those unfamiliar with the area I have added a few pictures both before the change and after. Right now it is a ghost town, at least on the voyage we were on in June. Several of the choices could work into the new Royal Suite Life program.

Move the mini golf area up to this deck and put in waterslides in the mini golf area at the back of the ship like they are doing on the Liberty of the Seas.

We have the cabins booked beneath this deck for an upcoming cruise so I would hope that there would not be an activity above us that is too noisy. As for now, it looks like we can go up one set of stairs and will have our own private massive sun deck to enjoy.

I'm surprised so much real estate isn't being used. Perhaps a good place for additional bars and hot tubs.

I would second the idea of a couple of hot tubs up there if the jets were not too noisy for the passengers staying in the cabins below.

We have 1890 booked for August of 2016. First one on the end. It just seems so under utilized

A gigantic water slide for the kids like Carnival, Norwegian and with

Royal Caribbean Harmony will have.

But since the space is to the front of the ship, I don't think it will work.

Just wishing....

A lazy river would be awesome. Adults only with bar stops along the way

i like the idea of cabanas but not if there is no pool, i think thats a waste like on Solstice class ships the grass area is under used and the cabanas are never available but yet i rarely saw people in them.

if they can at least stick some hot tubs or cool tubs on it and do cabanas it should work

If only it had a bar, maybe people would start using it. Not sure what else you could put up there though. That's the windiest spot on the ship. Anything that went up there would have to be relatively wind proof. A putt putt glug glug mini golf with several booze stops (maybe every 3-4 holes) would work for me:D

I voted a suite sundeck even though I normally don't travel in suites, however I wish to point out the deck plans of the new CCL Vista and their forward top deck... that would be perfect for all adults, not just suite guests! It's an adult only deck with hot-tubs, trellises, large round double cabana-type chairs (like in the Oasis Class Solariums), etc and most importantly a service area including a bar. Right now that deck is totally useless without a bar imho.

Either the first or second time I was on Freedom, I found this lovely little area. There were no other passengers around, plenty of loungers for sun bathing and I thought this was nice, maybe some storage area for extra chairs. I gathered all my things and decided to take a nap. Imagine my surprise when I awoke to find that my secret spot of serenity had been found and was now hosting a dozen or so topless bathers.

The St Tropez deck has always been one of our favorite places to sunbathe, very quiet and always easy to find a lounge chair. My husband and I would be disappointed if it was no longer available. :(

Princess ships use that area for something called 'The Sanctuary'. For a small fee ($15 per person per day last time we did it) you can rent a chair and it is yours for the day AND it is adults only. It is like the pool deck but VERY quiet and servers will get your drinks, etc. We rented the same chairs for the entire cruise and it was worth every penny.

That is what I was thinking of in the cabanas for fee choice
