Love the Legend, and love the Legend casino and their staff! Sounds like you spent your entire cruise looking for things to complain about and ways to try to get staff in trouble. Dang people like you.........

 

Apparently you didn't read the entire review. We had NO complaints about the "staff" - just David. As far as the other items (mainly the food), please explain to me why I am so wrong with stating my OPINION? I said that multiple times - that these things are just our opinion!

Great review..sweet couple..I understand when your earned points for the casino go wrong..you kept having a great time...but the spread out of having to keep "telling your story" instead of "just doing something already" puts a damper on things over and over again..kudos to you..you did it, took care of yourselves calmly and had a great cruise and clearly are a darling couple of couples to go and enjoy together..many more happy safe cruises and a couple of big wins for you gambling in the future and your toes were the best, you'll have to do them for each line you try...Sarah

I like to hear the good and the bad about anything. It gives me the ability to make a better decision on things. Most of the reviews that I have read are all saying the same things about the food. It's good, for the most part but not great. That's just fine with me. I enjoy simple meals that are tasty just as much as gourmet. Your review is only making me more excited to start our new adventure! Thanks for all your work and your OPINIONS!!!!!

Great review, thanks, when we were on the legend, the casino host was Claudia, she was the exact opposite of your host. too bad, poor people skills in a pr job can lead to issues.

 

also glad to see y'all like to dress up, we do too :)

I have your back on the "Food"! It was by far the worse that I have ever had on a Cruise Ship! My husband and I talked about it on the way home....how bad it was. We actually got up from the MDR Table one night and went to the lido deck for pizza etc...

 

There was one night that my husband spent the night puking and I know it was from something he ate (trust me this man has a stomach that can handle anything). That night at dinner he was trying a "Didja" that I told him something didn't look right about it, he ate it anyway and yep few hours later he and the bathroom became good friends.

 

The MDR food was awful for the most part! :( LOVED the service though!

I have to agree on the food. On the August 28th Legend sailing, I thought the food was mediocre, at best. Just returned from the Glory CTN and I thought the food was much better on there.

We sailed on the Legend on Oct. 2. I had read several reviews saying the food was terrible, I didn't mention this to my husband because it wasn't going to keep us from going. It was the second day and he said this is the best food we've ever had on Carnival. So not everybody thinks it's horrible. We ate at the steak house one night and it was the best steak house experience I've ever had.

 

I also don't get all the flap about the comfort food, there is one item each night, you don't have to choose it. I don't like seafood but that doesn't mean I can't eat at a restaurant that has seafood on the menu.

Thanks again for sharing your review! We can't wait to stay in your cabin in a little over a week. I appreciate you answering my earlier question about the bunk.

 

Everyone has their own opinions and experiences and I have enjoyed reading (and seeing) yours. My mama always taught me "if you can't say something nice, then don't say anything at all." It seems that there are a couple of posters that try to ruin it for the rest of us.

 

The previous posts are kind of scaring me about the food....but the upside is this may be the one vacation where I get to lose weight instead of gaining:D

Im waiting to hear what the big issue(s) is/are too. It all seems to be petty things that were a bit annoying. Sometimes something can happen early on that spoils the whole trip. It up to us to not let those things interfere with having a great trip. It looks like the 4 of you had a great vacation that many would be envious of. I hope to hear the rest of the journey turned out positively and it doesn't deter you from returning.

Congratulations on a truthful review. You are certainly entitled to your opinion--especially with as many cruises as you have under your belt. Loved your comment about the fact that you and your husband never do anything apart. My wife and I have been married for nearly 22 years, and we are the same way. (You made a comment about work--we actually taught together in the same classroom for 7 years!! We were great partners in the classroom like we are in our marriage, but if we didn't have the same last name, the students would never have known we were married). Why would we go on a cruise together and do things apart? Don't apologize for that--it will make for a strong marriage! You look very happy together in all of your photos!

I just want to thank everyone for the GREAT comments. After today's nonsense, it really brought me down. BUT, Brad took me out for dinner and drinks and read me all the comments and they really made me feel so good. (not to "brag" but he really is the best!). He also mentioned to me that I may have messed up on the days so I will correct that in the am. Thank you all again and sorry that I am so sensitive. I truly have a big heart and that is why I wasn't sure if I would post it to begin with. Goodnight all and I'll finish tomorrow

Hi Hubby,

 

Tell your wonderful wife we all enjoyed her review and look forward to the final chapter.

 

Not only are the negative people just plain boring, (and probably in real life also) but "admin" are poopy-heads.

 

You guys seem like a wonderful couple and if you ever need a spare couple to cruise with we'll join you. :D

 

Where do you live? Thank you so much! We'll be cruising 4 times next year so maybe we can talk? Very good possibility to cruise together. Thanks again!
