Thank God CC is back up!! Who else went crazy??

I tried twice from my phone yesterday. When it didn't load I thought my carrier was acting weird, but everything else loaded for me.

 

I used to be a big CC addict, but no so much anymore. I survived. I watched tv and packed my suitcase.

Now that sounds like a great alternate passion!

 

It drove me nuts, but CC was posting on Facebook to help with the withdrawal. Did you notice that yesterday morning's posts (at least mine) disappeared?

 

Possibly they diid a restore of the files from a back up earlier than intended, by accident or on purpose.

 

Or they are simply lost.

Looks like a day's amount of posts are gone but I am used to seeing threads and comments become " unthreads " in 1984 speak ;)

I guess it depends on your age and how much of an amateur you are.

I can stick it out for a day or three.

God knows they locked me out twice before and I lived thru that lol

I was going crazy over here! I'm stuck at home due to a snow/ice storm! There is only so much cleaning, watching tv, and catching up on stuff a person can do. I needed my CC fix. Wanted to read reviews with pictures, food porn and warm ports of call to get me through this weather.

 

I'm so glad it's bad up and running!

Facebook doesn't help with withdrawals from cruise information. I tried it. :o I had something I really wanted to put on our Roll Call and probably checked it 6 or 7 times yesterday. I usually bring my lunch to work so I go through CC while I eat. I was sure it would be back up when I got home. I went to bed early last night too.

 

 

Our current roll call has a Facebook page. It's been wonderful! I've actually been able to connect with the people better there. Now we have "faces" to put with the names. You might want to suggest it at the roll call.

When I clicked on the CC link yesterday morning, all I saw was a blank page. I thought I had been banned or something was wrong with my computer. I am thankful it's back in operation! Now to go see what I missed....:D

 

That's what I thought too, although I couldn't figure out why they would ban me. Now I will catch up on everything I missed too! Not much else to do, we have about 10" of snow, and now it's pouring down rain.....just waiting till April.:D

I thought it was me too. Tried reinstalling the app yesterday and when that failed I was stressed. I'm bored with the weather coverage both on TV and on my sidewalk! Shoveling done for now and pasta fagioli simmering on the stove. Just needed to sit and reconnect with my CC friends. After 15 minutes of trying, you all suddenly appeared. Thank you!

Oh my gosh - yes, couldn't wait for CC to come back up ! Just booked our FREE cruise on Tuesday afternoon and didn't have a chance until yesterday to get info on the cruise we picked here.....but couldn't ! Killing me !

 

Can't wait to read reviews, find the fun times, check out port excursions. So much to do.....

Anyone else having problems since Cruise Critic page was worked on? I get the page fine, click on forums fine, click on Carnival fine, but when a choose to read one of the entries I can't click and go back to the previous page so I can choose another entry after reading the choosen one. It goes back to my Aol page and I have to start over by clicking "Cruise Critic" (saved on my favorites) and enter everthing all over again> Thanks for anyone knows why this is happening now>
