Anthem of the Seas Construction

Recommended Posts

Please tell me this is a late April's fool.

Nope. I pulled that joke yesterday on the Anthem of the Seas Facebook Group page. This one is for real.

She's Gina the Giraffe, according to the Felicia Bear Facebook page.

I see that they have apparently added two more owner's suites to deck 12 that were made by combining two spa junior suites? The new ones popped up on a search for available cabins. Wonder whether there are any other cabin changes?

Well I love Gina the giraffe. She's beautiful [emoji1][emoji1][emoji1][emoji1]

Well, here she is on solid ground... well, deck anyhow.

I actually heard in January while onboard Quantum that it was going to be a Giraffe. I never thought it was true though. I like Gina. :D

She sort of is a DreamWorks character.

Apparently the giraffe was created by artist Jean-François Fourtou.

I can spot the new guest onboard who's already set to belly flop into the pool. Seems to be lost. The pool is the other way!

The odd thing is I know this artist's work from Madrid over the years and while the giraffe and geese were common in his work, they were never 'clothed'.

It actually looked a little better once in place on the ship.

I guess I am betting on a giant frog or rabbit for Ovation, now.
