cruiserchuck Posted September 23, 2016 #3 Share Posted September 23, 2016 They better still be offering a full breakfast, or I am going to be very disappointed when I am on the Solstice next month. The breakfast in Blu is excellent.

Mosttoyswin Posted September 23, 2016 #5 Share Posted September 23, 2016 I know they added a embarkation lunch to cc. That is not included with aqua class. Chooz2Cruz Posted September 23, 2016 Author #7 Share Posted September 23, 2016 Thank you. That would really have been disappointing not to have hot breakfast in Blu. I think I remember hearing they no longer have tableside Muesli. Can anyone confirm that?
TeaBag Posted September 23, 2016 #8 Share Posted September 23, 2016 In April, they did not have the table side muesli. It was already prepared in the kitchen and it was horrible. We heard they were designing carts with some sort of sneeze cover to replace the ones with no cover and it would resume when they got them. Maybe that was just to make us feel good. I haven't heard if these are in place yet.
wendyam76 Posted September 23, 2016 #9 Share Posted September 23, 2016 In Europe they still allowed the table side mueslie preparation - was so good!

I have been wondering about that, too. On our last Celebrity cruise in AQ, the web site stated that you got the CC perks plus those listed for AQ. Celebrity's website still mentions the table side muesli, which I hope they will be serving in Australia.
jelayne Posted September 23, 2016 #13 Share Posted September 23, 2016 Muesli was not quite tableside on the Solstice in Feb/Mar. It wasn't prepared in the kitchen but the cart was stationary in a corner the couple of mornings we went for breakfast. It wasn't nearly as good as I remembered from previous cruises. sptrout Posted September 23, 2016 #15 Share Posted September 23, 2016 I have been wondering about that, too. On our last Celebrity cruise in AQ, the web site stated that you got the CC perks plus those listed for AQ. Not that it will make or break our upcoming cruise, but do they still include the daily canapés? They removed that wording ("CC perks +) wording at least 1 1/2 years ago. (If you search for my posts you can find where I mentioned the change last summer - 2015). Anyway, with the exception of no longer getting bottled water delivered to your AQ cabin each day (just a couple "welcome" bottles the first day), we did not notice any change from previous AQ cruises last January. The daily afternoon treats are still delivered, but after the first day you have to fill out a form asking for them.

Just off Reflection on Sept cruise and that was my experience as well. Our steward informed us we could have or bottle of sparkling wine on request. Just let him know when we wanted it and it would be delivered. No form filling needed for canapés. Bottled water seemed to be replenished randomly, maybe every two days. Great time though,
El Crucero Posted September 24, 2016 #23 Share Posted September 24, 2016 Thank you. That would really have been disappointing not to have hot breakfast in Blu. I think I remember hearing they no longer have tableside Muesli. Can anyone confirm that? Just off the Solstice in Aqua class. Full breakfast in Blu every morning. No more tableside preparation muesli, ever. US health regulations do not permit food preparation on the carpeted floor in Blu. Prior to this, tableside muesli was available in non-US ports, however that has now been eliminated too. The Hotel Director said that they had eliminated that to prevent confusion on the part of the guests. Celebrity was getting too many complaints from guests about why they got tableside preparation one time and not the other, so they have just eliminated it entirely. Often times, complaining gets the opposite from desired results.
