It has been 2 years since my last AQ cruise. What has changed? Do we still get all the perks of CC? with the addition of AQ extras? I now see that you only get welcome water, not every day. It also now says only "continental" breakfast in Blu? Not a full menu?

I guess my question is..................does it still include all that Concierge has plus the above listed AQ amenities.

And here is what it says on X site for Aqua about Blu.

Specialty Restaurant Blu, created just for AquaClass guests, serving complimentary, healthy continental breakfast daily, and an unforgettable contemporary dinner nightly

In April, they did not have the table side muesli. It was already prepared in the kitchen and it was horrible. We heard they were designing carts with some sort of sneeze cover to replace the ones with no cover and it would resume when they got them. Maybe that was just to make us feel good. I haven't heard if these are in place yet.

I have been wondering about that, too. On our last Celebrity cruise in AQ, the web site stated that you got the CC perks plus those listed for AQ. Not that it will make or break our upcoming cruise, but do they still include the daily canapés?

Thank you. That would really have been disappointing not to have hot breakfast in Blu. I think I remember hearing they no longer have tableside Muesli. Can anyone confirm that?

We had a cart in Blu filled with that Ewell Gibbons mix on Summit this past June.

This is the same menu that they have had for a long time in Blu. You can eat as healthy or unhealthy as you want. I wonder why they are now calling it Continental.

Celebrity's website still mentions the table side muesli, which I hope they will be serving in Australia.

Muesli was not quite tableside on the Solstice in Feb/Mar. It wasn't prepared in the kitchen but the cart was stationary in a corner the couple of mornings we went for breakfast. It wasn't nearly as good as I remembered from previous cruises.

They removed that wording ("CC perks +) wording at least 1 1/2 years ago. (If you search for my posts you can find where I mentioned the change last summer - 2015). Anyway, with the exception of no longer getting bottled water delivered to your AQ cabin each day (just a couple "welcome" bottles the first day), we did not notice any change from previous AQ cruises last January. The daily afternoon treats are still delivered, but after the first day you have to fill out a form asking for them.

Agree, that was my experience in June. Interesting though is that on the ebrochures they changed the wording to receives most of the CC benefits. This leaves them an out.

The people who write this stuff probably have no clue what that means...

Just off Reflection on Sept cruise and that was my experience as well.

Our steward informed us we could have or bottle of sparkling wine on request. Just let him know when we wanted it and it would be delivered.

No form filling needed for canapés.

Bottled water seemed to be replenished randomly, maybe every two days.

Great time though,

Just off the Solstice in Aqua class. Full breakfast in Blu every morning. No more tableside preparation muesli, ever. US health regulations do not permit food preparation on the carpeted floor in Blu. Prior to this, tableside muesli was available in non-US ports, however that has now been eliminated too. The Hotel Director said that they had eliminated that to prevent confusion on the part of the guests. Celebrity was getting too many complaints from guests about why they got tableside preparation one time and not the other, so they have just eliminated it entirely. Often times, complaining gets the opposite from desired results.

Just off the Solstice in Aqua. ALL CC amenities are available in Aqua except the special lunch on embarkation day. Aqua stateroom staff asks if you wish to have a bottle of sparkling wine and when.

The daily afternoon treats are still delivered, but after the first day you have to fill out a form asking for them.
The stateroom staff will ask you if you want the afternoon canapes and at what time. We did not have to fill out any forms.
