Yes. They usually start right after Thanksgiving. Stay up real late & you can see the staff do some of the decorating.

Yes. Actually, they will begin bringing out decorations on the Friday after Thanksgiving. We have been on 3 Thanksgiving sailings (getting ready for our 4th) and on every single one (Infinity, Eclipse, Equinox) we saw them getting out things for Christmas starting in the morning. Every day they got out a few more. On disembarkation morning there were a couple trees being set up in the foyer by the stairs.

We have done two sailings in which we were on the ship on Thanksgiving Day, and two other cruises in which we boarded in early December. On the two when we were on the ship on Thanksgiving Day itself the Christmas decorations started appearing the day or so after Thanksgiving. On the two other sailings a number of Christmas decorations were in place when we boarded. But on all of these cruises more and more decorations appeared daily as the "decoration elves" seemed to work during the night. All times the decorations were very tasteful, and the ships had a very gracious and elegant feeling.

We were on the Equinox for 10 days in 2014 that left on Dec 10th. When we got on the ship there were no decoration but mid cruise every day more and more things were done. At the end of the cruise the 3rd-5th were all decorated including a gingerbread scene between the elevators on the 3rd. The ship with all of the decorations was classy and not over done.

We often sail from Dec 7-21. When we board we see no decorations, by the end of the cruise they are there.

Can't wait for our 1st cruise on Celebrity on Dec 11. We'll be in Miami on Dec 10 and hoping for nice weather. It will most likely be cold here in Michigan. :)

We sail on the Eclipse right after Thanksgiving (have done this cruise 5 of the past 6 years) and the Xmas decorations are normally put up during our cruise (in late November). Its actually fun to watch them putting up the stuff (the crew seems to enjoy the project).

Oh yes they will come out daily until fully done before you disembark. We're on until the 8th jan this time do will be note resting to watch them all come down

All being well, yes.

 

May be up when you board or go up a few days into your cruise.

Yes it will be decorated. On the Eclipse and Christmas started arriving last night with a couple of trees up and garland on the main staircase.

We took a Jan 2nd cruise twice..Holiday decor was still up and it ess very well done..We took photos right away..Each day more of them were taken down....

Boarding normally starts about 11:00 AM.
