IF you have not been to Barcelona before please plan to fly in a few days before your cruise. It is a wonderful city!!

We flew into Barcelona two days before the Vista Transatlantic. We could have used two weeks! Barcelona is indeed a wonderful city.

We just booked Horizon Transatlantic. We're really looking forward to exploring different parts of Barcelona when we fly in beforehand again.

Will look into it, hopefully a better itinerary than that of the Vista's

I like the TA itinerary, though a northern route would have been really nice. Iceland is on my bucket list.

When we sailed Vista TA, we'd never been to Europe. We loved the ports. Now we have different European cities to explore. (Except Gibraltar.)

So jealous!! I wanted to book this cruise but I didn't realize it was 8 sea days. I'm bummed they only have 1 European sailing, was hoping they would do more like they did for Vista.

ETA: oops, spoke too soon. Found more sailings.

That's a LOT OF SEA DAYS! What does one do with that many sea days?

I was a little disappointed that the Horizon won't be doing Med cruises all summer. I really wanted to book one for my husband's 50th birthday cruise in July. But, we'll have to make do with an April cruise. I ended up booking the 4/22 sailing in a Havana interior. My dream has always been to go to Italy, and I'm excited this one has four ports in Italy! Wish it was sailing out of Venice, but I'm sure we will like Barcelona.

Sleep in, have room service breakfast in bed, play trivia, see the morning show in the lounge live, relax in the sun, relax in the shade, read a book...or 12.

There are plenty of things to do on so many sea days.

We actually booked the TA because of all the sea days. Did the Vista Ta and the sea days just fly by- lots to do on ship as well as enjoying just doing nothing and relaxing.
