Anthomaniac Posted February 12, 2017 #1 Share Posted February 12, 2017 Ok ladies, I love the chunky/signature jewelry style and I have several pieces, but most are business/business casual. I'm looking to buy some cute vacation/cruising pieces. Where do you buy your jewelry? (better still if it is a good deal!)
NatalieWood Posted February 13, 2017 #2 Share Posted February 13, 2017 Have you checked out Charming Charlie's? Lots of cute pieces, not expensive. Sent from my iPad using Forums

Rare Scrapnana Posted February 13, 2017 #5 Share Posted February 13, 2017 Charming Charlies was the first place that came to mind but I have also seen some at Burlington and Stein Mart.

mousey Posted February 13, 2017 #7 Share Posted February 13, 2017 I get all my fun, funky jewelry and also designer jewelry at fantastic prices at TJ Maxx. I have many many pieces of sterling silver jewelry from there. They usually also have several pieces of nautical themed costume jewelry for sale. I got a really cute plastic, navy and white-striped anchor on a gold chain for my last cruise.:D
triple7tahoe Posted February 13, 2017 #8 Share Posted February 13, 2017 Third vote for Charming Charlie's - a chain store with lots of option. The store lays all jewelry and accessories out by color which is a fun novel way to shop. Another option would be BaubleBar which is an on line store, BaubleBar.com. I carry a little Vera Bradley jewelry case - which is a small box shaped cloth case. It features a pull out piece with 3 little zip pockets./pouches. It's light enough for a carry on and I just put it immediately in the safe once on board. It's large enough to hold a few chunkier jewelry and a pocket devoted to small items. It even has a strap across the top to carry it with. I've used it for many years and am not sure what their (Vera Bradley) current jewelry cases are. But if they don't carry a version like this anymore, I am sure you can find one on eBay.
hrhdhd Posted February 14, 2017 #9 Share Posted February 14, 2017 I also like Chico's, and I have been a couple of times to a Charming Charlie-type store here called Versona. They have a similar by-color layout.

waterbug123 Posted February 26, 2017 #12 Share Posted February 26, 2017 Versona. It's a chain, but I'm not sure how far reaching. As far as I can gather, it's very much like Charming Charlie's or Bauble Bar, although I've never been in either than I can recall.

frangran Posted March 14, 2017 #14 Share Posted March 14, 2017 I like real semi-precious stones made up into statement necklaces. So I shop at stores like NY6designs & other creative (but reasonably priced!) shops on Etsy & eBay.

lelehall Posted March 17, 2017 #19 Share Posted March 17, 2017 I try to stay with name brands that I can trust not to have the stones fall out or the metal to show wear. I stick with mostly Kate Spade and J Crew pieces. You can get them at TJ Maxx, Poshmark, their websites or their outlets for deals, which I always do. I never pay full price. CruisingGatorGirl Posted March 30, 2017 #20 Share Posted March 30, 2017 J.Crew! Almost all my costume jewelry comes from J.Crew. I also like Loft and Ann Taylor but that is more business-y. Check out J.Crew (and they always have a sale if you keep an eye out). https://www.jcrew.com/womens_category/jewelry.jsp?sidecar=true&source=mainnav
Rare MandyMooToo Posted April 12, 2017 #21 Share Posted April 12, 2017 I recently ordered some Paparazzi jewelry. You can get it from their website. It is only $5.50 each piece and the necklaces come with a set of earrings. It is very cute, fashionable and because it is so inexpensive I have no problem taking it on vacation (if I lose it, oh darn, but the world doesn't end). toxicfairy Posted June 12, 2017 #25 Share Posted June 12, 2017 I was at Burlington coat factory today ( haven't been there in quite some time) they have a rather nice selection of jewlery. All colors and styles. They even had a bunch in rose gold color. Sent from my SM-J700T1 using Forums mobile app
