Zena, I turned on the TV for you. Guess what? You HAVE to watch 20 minutes of safety video before you can do anything else! There was no way to get out of it! Once it was over, you could make selections again. Same general offerings, but NO LOVE BOAT episodes that I could find...

<snipped pics out>

I find the map to be the most useful thing on the TV...

Thank you for turning on the TV for us. I like to fall asleep to the TV at night (my version of white noise) so this was helpful. Question though? Was that on demand free or pay? On some lines anything on demand is like pay per view and on some cruise lines it's free. And on some a mix. Do you remember whether you had to pay for any of the TV stuff you saw? Or the movies?

Also, could you tell me the brand of TV? Want to bring a universal remote so that we can watch our own movies off a laptop or device of that nature. EDIT: Nevermind, I can make it out there at the bottom of the pictures. A Samsung it looks like....

Thank you for this interesting live blog. It takes a good bit of your time and internet minutes,so your efforts are appreciated.

I have one question to ask, respectfully, what will you do with all the photos in the photo package offered to you ?

Are you required to take all the photos in the package? Just curious. :)

It's going to be based in Sydney from September 2018 to March 2019 (ie during our summer which is the Chinese winter). Princess announced it earlier in the week and I've seen the brochure with itineraries. Mostly Australia/NZ ones with one South Pacific and one Tasmania shortish cruise, plus repositioning cruises. Bookings open 27th April. I'm hoping to book on the Tasmania cruise.

Can I ask where you saw the brochure with itineraries?

Girlie question? Are there shower caps with the toiletries in the cabin or should I pack one? Thanks!

JF is correct: shower cap is only included in Elite or Suite amenity bag. Just checked and yes, there is one.

Do you have any pictures of the water light show on the pool deck and the skywalk? Thanks

I have not yet seen Watercolor Fantasy performed, but it was in yesterday's Patter, unfortunately during late dinner. Oddly, on the Regal and Royal, the fountain deck space is used for loungers during the day. Not so here. The area is cordoned off.

Here's a pic from what it looked like on the Regal, and the Skywalk from the Regal (it's the same)7c90bd30876c3ef3e16c463544bbc27c.jpg

Good question. I think we're up to almost 80 now... With the package, they're automatically delivered to your cabin. They're also supplied on a USB stick at the end of the cruise.

You do have the ability to delete photos from the system using the video screens in the photo library if for some reason you didn't want one.

Wonderful day today in Gibraltar. It started off a little chilly, but soon warmed up beautifully. Thanks to Margaret for organizing our little CC shore excursion. We took the 3.5 hour tour from Gibraltar Inside Out Rock Tours. There were 8 of us in a minibus.

Our first sight was driving across the airport runway to the border with Spain. a838fa702a1bdafe0e289160eacc7759.jpg

The next stop was St. Michael's Cave which was quite stunning. d97fe278c2e9b3ae94f196749edee6a9.jpg

Next we went up the rock to see the apes and the amazing view.ac48b4decdaf21eb0bb58a86aa2747d2.jpg

Is this full suites only? We have a mini suite, so I was just curious.

Thanks again for answering all these questions we keep peppering you with!!

The comedian in the Princess Theatre tonight wasn't bad, but most of his material was old and recycled.

Also made it up to the nightclub. The venue, the Hollywood Pool, is a very odd choice for a dance club space. DJ Kev is is amazing and works his board like magic. Not very busy tonight at all, and we didn't stay long.

Yes full suites only or Elites.

Not in mini's. The name mini suite IMO should not have the name suite in it. ;)

I figured you'd say that LOL ;)

But we got a phenomenal price for it and there is the extra room so i'm not complaining. Mini or not- at least I'm going! :')

Thank you so much for such an in-depth review! I am so impressed with all of the photos and your thoughts about the ship - my husband and I are travelling on this ship in three weeks so this has been a fantastic insight into what we can expect.

Please can I ask a quick question for the OP or any other experienced cruiser? We are doing anytime dining - does this mean that we are limited to certain dining rooms or times? Or is it literally any time, but with a potential wait if full?

Thanks,

Fay
