Since there are many complaints about crowds during Self Walk-off, NCL is trying to fix that.

 

Everyone (including self walk off) need to pull color tags for their bags. The self walk off are given specific windows where they will be allowed off.

Havens and suites on smaller ships get Gold tags and are escorted off when ever you are ready.

 

Tours get Black tags and are escorted by the ShoreEx staff.

How is the Ocean Blue restaurant on board the breakaway. How would you rate it compared to other specialty restaurants.

Reason being is we have a car service picking us up which is now set for 8:30, don't want him to be waiting for up to two hours

Make sure you have a phone number for the car service, especially on a Sunday in Manhattan. Today we were in our vehicle before 8 am, but we've been stuck waiting on outside decks with customs backups for w long time, too (and called the service to keep them updated).

Look in your freestyle daily for the sign up time and location on embarkation afternoon. Only 12 seats per session and they sell out very fast

Years ago you were able to wait in your cabin until your color was called for disembarkation. It became much more chaotic once you had to be out of your cabin early. People leave their cabin and just end up standing in line after eating breakfast. It will be interesting to see if the new process helps.

No Margaritaville - we had actually talked to the pre-concierge vs onboard concierge. Always with asking.

 

 

No packing the paintings. They are still very wet when you leave the room.

 

 

Yes. Use the concierge for bookings. The lines for Canvas by U are long with many turned away. The concierge can guarantee you a seat. Or go to the library after the sailaway. We had so much fun the first day, we went back for a second session on the last sea day.

 

 

Yes. The concierge can book the Escape room. Although we did t solve all the puzzles, we had a great time.
