Can'tWait2SetSail Posted March 7, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 7, 2018 I have never booked a cruise this far out before (May, 2019). My booking is showing no excursions available, not even FTTF. If FTTF was sold out would it still show up on the list but just be listed as unavailable? This is The Dream out of Galveston. Thanks for your help. ShanZro Posted March 7, 2018 #3 Share Posted March 7, 2018 The cruise that we just did was booked 13 months out. We didn't get FTTF so I dont know exactly how it works. But, the excursions didnt show up until about 8 months before the cruise.
asalligo Posted March 7, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 7, 2018 303 days out for me or 9 months and 29 days. Neither have appeared for me yet either.
Shaded Lady Posted March 7, 2018 #5 Share Posted March 7, 2018 I'm sailing out of Galveston on Vista in June 2019 and have the same issue. My PVP told me the excursions should start to appear any time from 13-15 months in advance. She said they tend to release them in streams- so yours in May and mine in June might come out the same time. I'm also waiting for FTTF.
ricew001 Posted March 7, 2018 #6 Share Posted March 7, 2018 yes - normal. I've only done 4 cruises and 3 of them I booked more than a year in advance and this was the case for those 3.

RWolver672 Posted March 8, 2018 #9 Share Posted March 8, 2018 We always book well over a year in advance and FTTF has always been the first excursion to pop up when they finally start adding them.
Rare Jamman54 Posted March 8, 2018 #10 Share Posted March 8, 2018 As many above have said, it is perfectly normal. None of my 2019 cruises have excursions listed yet. Keep checking, and one day they will start popping in. Happy planning!
teknoge3k Posted March 8, 2018 #11 Share Posted March 8, 2018 FYI for my sailing this May 19th, I was able to purchase FTTF April 12th 2017 which was when it became available. I don't know if anything else opened that day or not, we won't book excursions through Carnival, only FTTF.
tytanbri Posted April 4, 2018 #12 Share Posted April 4, 2018 The FTTF for the 2018 cruises was posted on April 12th, 2017. I would imagine the same time frame will be used for the 2019 cruises. The carnival website just says they will become available in spring 2018, so any day now.

Secondly, maybe for you, but not all FTTF were posted on 4/12/17 for 2018 cruises. We booked our June, 2018 cruise in early March, 2017 and didn't see FTTF (and the first round of excursions) until months later.
