PCWalton1 Posted April 10, 2018 Author #102 Share Posted April 10, 2018 I guess I skipped a posting on dinner last night. We went to Chops for steaks and were not disappointed. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S8 using Tapatalk
PCWalton1 Posted April 10, 2018 Author #103 Share Posted April 10, 2018 Not quite as scary from this angle: Still, don't think I would have ventured near the edge either. I don't care what angle you take, I was not going out there. ;p

Rare Tigerlily75 Posted April 10, 2018 #108 Share Posted April 10, 2018 Love the photos from Maxwell Hawker Centre, I sat at those very same orange tables and ate the same chicken rice. Even if Singapore had nothing else to offer I d come back just for that! And now I'm extra excited for this review, since I just today booked an 18 day transpacific on Ovation. Enjoy your cruise! PCWalton1 Posted April 10, 2018 Author #110 Share Posted April 10, 2018 For dinner tonight we tried Wonderland for the first time. Great experience thanks to our server Tharsini. I tried to take a few pictures but some of the time we had already dove in. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S8 using Tapatalk

Rare BillOh Posted April 10, 2018 #112 Share Posted April 10, 2018 Thank you for the welcome. Too bad our stay is barely 24 hours. Here's Ovation and Mariner. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S8 using Tapatalk Thanks for the bonus shot of Mariner. I think John and Laura are on that one now, couple days after you were next to her. I've been following her re-positioning, looking forward to her return to Florida next year.

PCWalton1 Posted April 11, 2018 Author #117 Share Posted April 11, 2018 (edited) Our chef? After eating we took a drive across town to the Kek Lok Si Temple. The Kek Lok Si Temple is a Buddhist temple situated in Air Itam in Penang facing the sea and commanding an impressive view, and is one of the best known temples on the island. Rare xpcdoojk Posted April 11, 2018 #122 Share Posted April 11, 2018 Rude much :rolleyes:? I apologize. I didn’t mean to be rude. Pagoda’s are lovely, but like the Colleseum in Rome of the Parthenon in Athens, they all start to look a lot alike after you have seen several. It was not a put down of the trip report or of Buddhism etc. JC

Most other travelers were aghast when I mentioned that after a while the pyramids were just a pile of rocks to me.
