I worked my way through Casino Royale to get there, and I found out that Casino Royale’s slots are open 24 hours (almost). They only close the slots when the ship enters a port. Hmmm . . . I had to stop in for a minute, but so far Casino Royale seems promising.

Do they have any $1 Wheel of Fortune machines, or others with a $3 max bet on the Harmony? I am organizing a slot pull for our cruise in November, so I usually try to find one of those.

The JS looks nice. That is what we booked on Harmony for November.

Will be following along, but we are doing Eastern. Just finished a Western on the Allure last month.

Hello everyone . . . today was our first sea day onboard Harmony of the Seas. The day was full of many activities. I was able to attend a few of them. I first attended the Cruise Critic Meet & Mingle event held in Dazzles on Deck 8. I was able to meet several Cruise Critic members and several prizes were raffled off to those attending.

The Top Tier event was held next, at Aqua Theater on Deck 6. Cruise Director Dru hosted the event along with Captain Gus. The top officers from Harmony of the Seas were introduced and there was entertainment provided by dancers and divers. There was, of course, awards given to the top Pinnacle guests and beverages were available for all those attending. I was able to attend the Port Shopping talk where information was given on shore excursions and shopping suggestions for the three ports we will be visiting on this cruise.

The weather outside was very warm with a lot of sun and very light winds. I think that it may have brought most passengers out to the pool decks. All of the pools were very busy. The pools were so packed with adults that I opted to avoid the crowds. The solarium, however was a little less crowded and very relaxing.

I am looking forward to arriving in Labadee, Haiti tomorrow. We are scheduled to arrive at 8:00 AM and I am sure I will be off the ship by 8:30 AM. The forecast for tomorrow will be much like today.

Here are some pix from this afternoon.

Thanks for tuning in . . .

In the first photo of the Solarium, you show what seems to be a large "pool"--is that one of the hot tubs in the Solarium? I'd heard there was no "pool" in there and was originally worried about that, but if that's the hot tub it looks quite large? Are there one or two of them and odd question--but do they keep them very hot or more tepid?

Thank you so much for the review!

Hello everyone and Good Morning. Welcome to DAY 3 of “LIVE” from Harmony of the Seas. I am posting this morning from Labadee, Haiti. (Our first port of call) We could see the mountains on the coast of Haiti since about 7AM. We are currently tied up alongside the pier and passengers will be cleared to go ashore soon.

I should be going ashore within the hour to enjoy a lovely day in Labadee. The forecast for today is sunny skies most of the day with warm temps (84F). All passengers must be on board by 4PM as we sail for Falmouth, Jamaica at 4:30PM.

Here are a few pics from this morning. . .

Thanks for tuning in.

Hello, Radio,

Like all other readers on this thread, I love reading your reviews!! The big difference this time is that my wife and I are sailing with you!!!!

Do you visit the Diamond's Club during the "happy hour (4:30 - 8:00 PM nightly)?"

No, not so much. . . That is usually the time I make a post before Casino Royale.

Hello everyone . . .

I had a great day today in Labadee. A few of us decided to rent a Columbus Cove beach bungalow. The beach bungalows are a new addition since the last time I was here. There are only 8 beach bungalows and they can be reserved through the Shore Excursion process with Royal Caribbean. The beach bungalows are in a roped off area with a private beach and private lounges. Included with the rental were several large bottles of Evian water iced in a cooler and floatation mats for all guests.

At first, it didn’t seem like a big deal, but later in the day, it was heaven as, later in the day, the non-bungalow beach area at Columbus Cove was packed. Our bungalow attendant was wonderful and he made sure that we had anything that was required. He made sure that the bungalow stayed clean and that we had plenty of water and other drinks.

The weather today in Labadee was perfect with sunny skies, a light breeze, and crystal clear water. We were able to take the tram from the pier area over to Columbus Cove. I made sure that our bungalow attendant received several “green thank you notes.”

I was able to visit some of the vendors in the artisan marketplace. I think that the BBQ lunch was better today than on previous visits here.

Here are a few pix from today. We are scheduled to arrive in Falmouth, Jamaica tomorrow at 9:15 AM. Thanks for tuning in.
