They should have some. On Breeze in March they had the college basketball games on. I watched the Red Frog Pub bartender flip between FS1, ESPN, and SEC Network.

There is a sports bar, with several TV's... I don't watch sports, so I have never been in there. I have passed it by a few times and there were several different things on all at once.

A $6 bottle of sparkling wine is not exactly a chick magnet, or I would have surely tried to wield it's power...

A bit of an awkward situation starting out at Jiji Asian tonight... ***Note: almost all situations are awkward in my life.

 

Anyhoo, the waitress brought the menu, and said to put a number in front of the items that I wanted. Now, I wasn't going to have more than one of anything, so I put a 1 in front of the items that I had selected.

 

She looks at it and says "no, you can only pick one item from each section" ... Then why did you tell me to put a number? What if I would have put a 6 in front of something? Anyway, I told her I would pay extra, I don't care. These are the things that I would like to order...

 

Long story even longer, when the bill came it was for exactly $15, the price of admission... Like I said, I didn't want anything for free, they said to put a number...

 

But, I digress.

 

The meal itself was about the best I've had on the ship. For the money, better than the steak house. I had the pork entree, don't remember what it was called. Very good...

Jiji Asian, highly recommend, they just need to explain more clearly the parameters...

I was able to waddle over to Alchemy for the last few drinks of the cruise. This time tomorrow I'll be in a metal tube flying through the air at 33,000 feet...

 

I told juilia to just go wild and surprise me...

***Note: pretty much my standard drink order.

I realized that Vania at Alchemy had not had a hand in my drunkenness thus far... She mainly handles the outer tables here. She through a handful of fresh rasberries in the shaker and muddled it with some fresh basil. Tequila, and a few other ingredients, and boom. At least one of the top five drinks of the week...

I asked Brian to just make the craziest thing ever... ingredients: whatever you got...Mezcal, Grappa, amarreto apple brandy, and a few other things I can't remember...

Incident at Alchemy just now: couple walks up and ordered some drinks. They handed the bartender their cards. Bartender says I'm sorry, you've both reached your 15 limit for Cheers. They said whatever, we'll just pay for them. Bartender says I'm sorry that's not how it works. Lady gets angry and says she doesn't care how it works, I want another drink. Bartender tries to explain, once you reach 15 you're cut off. Lady grabs her current drink and hurls it at the bartender and storms off. Security called. Lady is gone, but since they ran her card they know exactly who she is...

 

***Note: If you're getting close to 15, buy your drinks outside of the Cheers package beforehand.

 

***Note 2: If you've had 15 and you're arguing with the bartender you probably don't need another drink anyway.

 

***Note 3: They know exactly who you are and also your cabin number.

 

***Note 4: don't throw your drink at the bartender, or you will probably (definitely) get a visit from security...
