I have curly Kale in my refrigerator. I sauté it in butter with garlic ( Born and bred in the UK).

Going to try something different tonight. "Bubble and Squeak" using Kale!

Hi Lola, oh,,a,cheese ball can be delicious. That outer layer is different chopped nuts.

I make one called an ant nest.  Mix lemon juice into the cream cheese for a nice zing, then roll in black poppy seeds.  Tasty!  Going back over 20 years though.  Make that thirty years: very 90s.

The best cheese balls come from Tasmania.

Black Truffle always has a whiff of halitosis to me. I'm afraid none of these options are enticing me. The one I saw was about the size of a large grapefruit and looked like it had been rolled around the bottom of a hamsters cage before being served.

Sounds really good! I love poppy seeds!  Ever try a lemon/poppy seed muffin? Yummy!

Back home and going to a couple of our favourite restaurants on the Sunshine coast. First a fairly new Greek Restaurant. Had our 4th visit this week end with friends. They have BBQ lamb ribs that are fantastic so we had 2 plates. also had octopus, lemon potatoes and babaganoush.

Forgot to take one of the Octopus. but all very good and no left overs. A bit out of the way at Forest Glen unless you know your way around the Sunshine coast.

Can I assume that the lovely little chap is you, Davey?  If so, I understand your CC nom-de-plume now.
