You are brave - that's usually close to where the chip is. I would normally aim for the lower left corner.

OK, full disclosure. I punched well away from the red line. My card works fine with our cabin and the SL reader, but failed muster. I'm getting a new one anyway, so no more punches for me.

They are for Pinnacles. I’d say its something like a badge of honor (no ill intention). I think earlier in the thread John posted a photo of one that is close up. They are quite nice looking.
