Rare Essiesmom Posted February 21, 2019 #2 Share Posted February 21, 2019 It's been years since they were a regular thing. Now they only have one on a Journeys cruise. EM
mets123 Posted February 21, 2019 #3 Share Posted February 21, 2019 Is the buffet on a Journey cruise like the good old days, or a very smaller version? I'm sailing on one on the Sunrise in June and just trying to set my expectations.
gkbiiii Posted February 21, 2019 #4 Share Posted February 21, 2019 What about on Maiden Voyages?

Still nice, but in my opinion wasteful.

KarimaJ Posted February 21, 2019 #7 Share Posted February 21, 2019 They have it on the Breeze, not that great. A few options.
Scurvy Seadog Posted February 21, 2019 #8 Share Posted February 21, 2019 I just got off a regular 7 day Western Caribbean cruise aboard the Breeze earlier this month and the Midnight Buffet was offered on 5 of the 7 nights of the cruise. This is the first time I've seen this since my Journey cruise last year.
Rare shof515 Posted February 21, 2019 #9 Share Posted February 21, 2019 The late night snacks buffet on the lido is different then the midnight buffet that is offer on the journey cruises. The journey cruises midnight buffet is usually in one of the dinning room with very nice displays and is on the throwback sea day
goofdad Posted February 21, 2019 #10 Share Posted February 21, 2019 Curious what is the definition of the "Late Night Snacks Buffet"? Are we talking dessert type fare or something different than that?

I'd take that over how they used to be, I remember on my second cruise they did the Midnight Gala buffet one night and it looked amazing with all the carved fruit and ice sculptures, but when it finally came time to eat, it was disappointing in that you could tell this stuff had been made hours ago and didn't taste very good.
