Carnival Magic vs RC Harmony of the Seas

Need help choosing a cruise for Sept. 2020. Breeze or Harmony of the Seas. Only difference in itinerary is Coco Cay on Royal and Belize on Breeze. Both go to Roatan, Cozumel, and Costa Maya. The price is essentially the same. We have ever only cruised on Carnival. If you have cruised on either or both ships, please give me your opinions!

Can you tell us more about your priorities? IMO (included) food is much better on Carnival but entertainment is significantly better on RCCL. I do think it’s surprising that they are the same price and would probably pick Harmony.

Well, as much as I would love Harmony, I ended up booking Breeze. Mainly because that would be the 3rd. Cruise booked for 2020, and the Saturday to Saturday sailing allows us to drive to Port Canaveral. Saves airfare 😀!

Harmony would have been worth the airfare. Similar priced sailings makes Harmony a total no brainer.  Carnival is a better choice when it's much cheaper, it's a value line.  To pay the same as the second best ship in the world, Harmony, well that's crazy talk!

I would’ve spent extra on airfare to go on Harmony for sure (or driven the extra 2-3 hours). We sailed on Dream (Breeze’s sister) and Allure (Harmony’s sister) within months of each other. Dream was a good cruise. Allure was a “WOW!” cruise:

if Breeze and Harmony are priced the same, that means that Breeze is overpriced or you are getting a killer deal on Harmony. Either case, I would’ve picked Harmony without a second thought.

I really do not want to degrade the thread but I have been on both as well, and was def not wowed by our Oasis cruise (still very enjoyable without doubt), so much so as we walked off and saw the Freedom next door we both looked up and said....we are coming back (to Carnival).  So.... I guess you will not be the lone vote......
