I don't think so (customs stopping).  I hope that was some kind of joke.

Yes, that's how it was intended.  (Although, mail is often delayed crossing the border.)

I'm curious, did you call Princess to find out if the Medallions would be mailed to Canadians?

Yes, I did.  I was speaking to Ocean specialist.  I have not checked if anything has changed.  We don't have much time before our next cruise.  It's not a huge deal as we get priority check-in anyway.  And not planning to get to our next ship as early as I normally would.

BTW, they come from overseas as I understand it.

Why add one more thing to one's to do list?  I can see no reason to get the medallion mailed to you at home.  You just have to remember to bring it!!!!!!!!!  Why even do this if you can just pick up at the port?  And I am sure the under 10 minutes it saves you will not be remembered in your memory bank after the cruise is over!!!  What am I missing here?

Ummm, standing in yet another line, maybe?  Anything to reduce that number!

Guess I have been lucky in my past Princess cruises as literally, I have never waited at all or more than 3-4 minutes in line.  Now, sitting and waiting in area upstairs after checking in is another story and one Medallion wouldn't change.

I ordered my medallion and it was shipped but apparently the usps lost the package. Can I get a new one at the port?

Yes, you'll be directed to the Blue line (rather than the Green line) and it will only be a short delay to assign a new one.

Sometimes the wait will be short, sometimes not depending on the crowd & agent.
