Best of Adventure of the Sea?

Recommended Posts

11 of us are sailing on Adventure in July. It will be our first time on RC. What do you like best about Adventure?  What in your opinion is a must see, must do, must eat, must experience?

Ice skating show.

Agree I find ice skating show amazing, I never get tired of it. This is my favorite class of rccl ships.

We also love the ice skating shows. The Duck and Dog Pub is a great place to hang out. Depending on the artist, the music can be very good and it's also a great place to people watch on the Royal Promenade. The Schooner Bar is small on Adventure and foot traffic walking through can make it very crowded. However, if there is a good piano player in there, it can be a fun place to hang out also.

Having sailed Adventure 3 times...we've found we spend a good deal of time in the Promenade area...the various shops, pub, eating places are all very nice and welcoming. She's one of our favorite ships, and has plenty to offer. Agree with the other folks that the ice show is also a "must see".

Just having been on in May, we found the Promenade the best place to hang out and people watch.  The ship is not new but it is an awesome class. We did not get a chance to hang out in the Solarium (not for lack of trying) because it was taken over early in the morning by towel hoggers.  SO if you want to go there, be early or be ready to move towels ;).

We loved the The Duck and Dog Pub in the promenade and Schooner Bar. The live music was always top notch at those places and tons of fun, especially with the sing alongs at the Schooner Bar.

And as others have said, the ice show is great too!

We just got off the ship.  We usually stopped by the Duck and Dog for at least one drink and listened to the entertainer.  I enjoyed the piano man in the Schooner bar.  If there is nothing big going on in the Blue Moon, that is a great place to relax and your group could usually all fit together (we were a group of 10) and being able to enjoy some music and still be able to have conversations.

If you like trivia you will have many chances every day to play, the staff members take it seriously and have fun at the same time.  Was better than any other ships I have sailed.

Viking Crown Lounge, have a cocktail right around sunset and get a sofa and table right in front of the floor to ceiling glass.
